Hmm, what is the Diva trait for then, if there isn't a skill? It can't really lead to vain, dramatic sims because - we already have the Snob and Dramatic traits. We also already have Star-Quality..

Diva would be the ultimate singer. So, my idea would be a person who is artistic, charismatic, airtuoso (possibly) would make  great Diva. Now if that is a true trait, I'd add that!

Hmm, but if there isn't a singing skill what would the diva trait actually add? Perhaps better turnouts at concerts or something?

The diva trait looks more like a combination of Snob, Mean Spirited and Dramatic. It doesn't benefit any of the new careers or anything from what I can gather. Natural Born Performer is the one that effects the singer, acrobat and magician careers.

I really like the other trait, Social Butterfly. Do you think it will be like the friendly trait? I think a Social Butterfly is defiantly one I will enjoy with this Expansion pack, as it is one of my Real Life Traits.  :) Good+Friendly, is what Social Butterfly sounds like to me.

I think the trait Social Butterfly would go really well with Computer Wiz though. It could be a real stereotype breaker, on a Sim.  :)

I think Singing will be a hidden skill.
If it's based on Charisma, I probably won't play Singers much, as I am horrible at making friends in the Sims.

lol, I'm with you Seabody. If singing is based on charisma, I won't be having too many. My Sims are usually socially inept. Given our circus ties, I'm more interested in the acrobats anyway!

I really hope arcobatics, magic and singing are new skills as I want my Starlight Shores DecaDynasty to be a real learning experience.

That's odd for a new EP to come out with no new skills. Has it ever happened in the past sims games?

If you mean from The Sims 3 series then yes, Generations had no new skills but has been the only expansion pack to not have any so far.

There had better be new skills, magic, acrobatics and singing totally deserve their own skills (Not hidden either!) and I want new skill. Besides if drums, guitar, piano and bass can each have their own skill then why not singing too.

Oh yes! I had completely forgotten! Mind you, it didn't come with LTWs either, and only one career.

Generations did modify the skill challenges for logic though.  So maybe singing will be added to charisma.  I hope not though.

So do I, it just seems a bit silly to me. I hope against hope it's an actual skill, and not a silly hidden one. ::)

It could easily be a hidden skill as well. Practice makes perfect and all, like Dancing? Or imagine if Sims are just born with talent.  :)

Singing to me, sounds like something easily made for the Virtuoso trait. If that's true, Indigo Dreamweaver could easily have her turn to shine, with her own special article on the Singing career, written by our very own Pam.  :)
