Guys you do realize this isn't the first time she had anything to do with EA or the Sims Series, right? If you remember back in Sims 2, she recorded her song, "Hot n Cold" in Simlish for the last Sims 2 EP, Apartment Life.

How much time do I have to preorder the Katy Perry Version? I want to wait, and try to get my free SP with it. 

Never got into sims 1 or 2 so I had no idea! Probably til the day before it comes out I would think.

You know, I said I'd never get Late Night.  I also said I'd never get Pets.  Yep, have them both now.   

In Katy Perry's defense, the Sims 1 version of Superstar had celebrities like Avril Lange, Christina Aguilera and Freddy Prinze Jr.  All three of them were barely famous at the time.  It did have Marylin Monroe, too, but she doesn't count:  she wasn't exactly in a position to say no.

Sounds awesome! My favorite statement was "But beware – if you send your magician to your friend’s game, they might come back a little bit more dead than they were when you sent them." Hehe that's hilarious!! I can wait for it though, my graphic card comes before Showtime!

Wowza! In the section about Genies...

10. Free the Genie. If you have a high relationship with the genie, you can try to free it from its lamp. But wishing alone won’t do the trick… you’ll go through a process of 4 different opportunities to complete this. First, you put the lamp in the fridge to “freeze the lamp”. Next, you put it in the oven to “heat the lamp”. Thirdly, you go and explore the catacombs (at the graveyard) with the lamp. Finally, you just summon the genie one more time and they are released from the lamp forever.
A freed genie is a full member of your household, and like the other supernaturals has some special powers. They can magically clean Sims, which not only puts the hygiene bar right up but also gives a special moodlet from being so clean. They can banish Sims, which randomly sends the Sim to a point really far away on the map. My favourite power is that they can summon food. You can choose what to summon from a list of almost every food in the game (except Ambrosia), and the food they summon is always perfect quality.

Yes I want to know to. I just love gardening and can't wait to grow banana's. I do hope it will really look like a banana tree, otherwise it would be to weird

The genie look really awesome! It can summon perfect food and banish someone. I can think of a sim or two I like to banish lol! Bananas will be great for a snack.
