Unable to Download from Store or Exchange

Hey Everyone I have been having this problem for a while but I hope someone can help me here.
I am unable to download things from the store or the exchange. I click on the download button and nothing happens the launcher does not come up or anything.

Any help would be appreciated  :)

Are you sure that you're logged in on the Sims 3 site?  I would also suggest clearing your internet browsing history.

yes I am logged into the Sims 3 site the site even says that i have downloaded it before but it is not in my game or launcher

Have you tried doing it while the launcher is up?  Preloading the launcher and then hitting download while looking at the download tab.

I am going to try that

Edit: OK i tryed that it did not work now that i have recently switched to Windows Internet Explorer now it says when I try to download something it puts a message saying not a valid win32 application

For the Sims 3 Store, if you've already purchased the item, you can download it again from your Purchase History on the Sims 3 site.  When you purchase an item and attempt to download, exactly what happens?  Try clearing your browser history, too.  And try using a different browser.  Google Chrome is what I use.

I just did a complete re-install and it works now so thanks everyone for the help  :P
