The Run Around Bug

I haven't noticed this with the townies in Twinbrook, but I think one of my children has it. She seems to run everywhere and I thought maybe it's because she's Excitable. I'll have to see if it continues as she grows up.

I've got a firehouse in Twinbrook that's full of runners, every single one of them has this bug.

Oh my! Now both girls and their father run around! The mother still walks, thank goodness. I have no idea why this is happening. They all have different traits, so that can't be it.

This is weird.  It definitely would annoy me also.

I haven't had that particular bug ...yet.  I just have a problem with certain sims moving from chair to chair to couch...I call it the "sitting" bug.  Probably opposite to the runaround bug. 

Hopefully they'll patch this behavior.

My firefighter just got this. LOL he always looks like he is in an emergency. I was hoping it would go away but not yet.

I'm wondering if it's Twinbrook, although when it happened to me before Ambitions I was in Sunset Valley.  I think it happens when a sim runs for whatever reason, be it playing tag or running to a fire, and then they just get stuck that way.  It's annoying.  My Twinbrook family is now into their third generation and every single member is running around.  Three entire gens of runners!  Yikes...

I finally got one of those and it took her to elder to start it, lol.  She is past her time to pass, so it won't be long, but that is my first one.

I started a new game a few days ago.  It's a household of 4 sims in Sunset Valley (practicing for the Random Challenge) and they all run, all the time.  I've never had this before.  It's quite funny to watch, but I'm used to sims who take their time and saunter around, giving me lots of time to think what to do next - I really have to be on my toes with this lot.

I have another one too.  She started when she was a youth and still running strong as a teenager.  I didn't mind for a while, but now it is getting on my nerves. lol

Yeah, it's driving me bonkers.  I recently started a new family, the dad was a fireman and of course runs around like there's an emergency 24/7.

I have a household (in TwinBrooks) where three of the four have the running glitch.  I've heard that it is indeed a bug associated with Ambitions (or since it came out)  Personally I like it, I don't have to wait for them to wander to where ever.  And it's not trait related since my first Sim who got it was a couch potato!  And it happens spontaneously since I've stopped the aging in my house, so it's not to do with being kids and growing up.

I don't really like the running, but it makes me laugh when they run while carrying a toddler or infant.  And sometimes they run with their arms straight down and that's just hilarious!

I know what you mean.  I specifically had my couple have a baby, because I wanted to make her a PI when she got adult.  She started running as a youth and still running, pretty cool though, if she gets a PI job down the street, instead of driving that short distance, like some do, she will run to the end of the block.

I have yet to get this bug, but I have read it happens when someone plays tag, and a workaround is to go into edit town mode, evict the family, then move them back in to the same lot.

No playing tag here, youth started as soon as she had her birthday from toddler.
