Someday I hope to be able to retire to this cottage.  Meantime, it's a comfortable little retreat for a Sim who likes to paint and fish and has a dog.

View from the street:

The bridge is functional, but my test Sim seemed to prefer to cut through the neighbouring lot instead.

Just in case you were in any doubt whose cottage this is, here are Seabody's Schipperkes standing guard:

The upstairs:

Main floor showing feature wall with Gheez' t-shirt pattern:

Another view of the main floor, featuring another Gheez pattern:

As you can see, the cottage is very small.  But if overnight guests should arrive, provision has been made for them.  The guest room:

Wow really pretty ! I think the sims like to avoid the bridge because it is over 45° angle, doesn't make it less of a gem :D

Thanks very much, kiko!

The only way I could get my Sim to go over the bridge was to make him "use stairs" on both sides but it was really fun watching him walk over it.

What a lovely place, it's like a fairytale cottage, so pretty.  It'd be lovely there, sitting by the fire on a dark winter's evening... when you retire there, please invite me for tea.

Thanks, Gheez.  Please drop in anytime!  And when you come, I hope you won't mind if I ask you for instruction on how to use Create-a-Pattern because I'd sure like to be able to make gorgeous patterns like yours.

This is timeless, beautiful and classic. I never thought I'd ever be interested in anything but modern but this beauty, among others in the Swap Shop, has definitely changed my mind. :D

Schip I am astounded at how much you have grown and developed as a builder and designer. Considering just a few weeks ago you maintained that you were not a builder you have certainly proven yourself wrong.
