Schip I am astounded at how much you have grown and developed as a builder and designer. Considering just a few weeks ago you maintained that you were not a builder you have certainly proven yourself wrong.

Thanks, Rachel!  Yes, it's true that I've been studying and learning from the many fine builders here.  And occasionally I manage to turn out something decent.  But I'm not quite ready to give up my title of worst builder in the forum - not yet!

I adore this house!  Absolutely must have it.  You did make one incorrect statement though, if I may correct you?  This is a house for a dog who has a person, not a Sim who has a dog.  tch tch, with your critters you should know better!  lol  jk, my friend.  I love this house.  Oh, and I'd be glad to make use of that guest room!

Are you serious?  I originally wrote the description as you suggested:  "a dog who has a Sim who likes to paint and fish," something like that.  I changed it because I thought some people might not understand.  But your comment makes me wish I left it as it was!    Great minds think alike, Joria.

And I need to say a very big Thank You to Gheez and Seabody for their Schipperke patterns, which add so much to the house!  We have so many talented pattern designers here in the forum, and I just love everything you guys make!

In my opinion, I think it would have been far more respectful to ask permission before posting it on Facebook. I have been asked about recreating or using my houses in the past and it has always been requested via the PM system. I feel that for the most part this would be the better way to ask something like this so not to put someone on the spot.

Anyhow, I absolutely adore the original house. Thank you for sharing.

Never mind. I thought I was doing the right thing by showing what I did and asking if it was ok, but I see now that people get upset too easily 

I removed the post. And I'll take it off facebook as well. I saw it as free advertising for her original house since I provided the link for this thread on my page, but.....

No harm done.  Neashleigh, I'm honoured that you like the house enough to make your own version of it.  I do think it's best not to put a picture of your house in this thread, as this thread is for the Sunflower Cottage and someone casually looking at the thread might find it confusing to see two different houses shown.  But if you want to put up the link so people can see your house, I'm ok with that.  Just be sure to mention in your post that you're doing it with my permission.
