Dear Journal,
Today we are going to the kids house to give the newly-weds a few gifts. The twins went shopping yesterday before the wedding and well... I couldn't think of anything to get Velvet!!! So I.... hold up! I GOT THE GIFT! I know what to get Velvet!!!
Velvet was unwrapping the gifts from the girls.
The girls put their money together and got Velvet some fancy undergarments. I held my package in my hands waiting my turn. Then I began to feel ill and decide I should head home before I vomit... I quickly tried to hand the gift to Velvet but I couldn't get her attention. I ran upstairs, unwrapped the gift pulled a pen out and wrote her a note. Then I stuck the gift under her pillow and ran home and promptly vomited. I ate some bad appetizers.
The next morning I got a call Velvet told me all about how she found the gift... this is in her words...
Sorry I neglected to notice you trying to get my attention but I was so caught up in the others... Anyway when everyone left I went upstairs (in my new undergarments) and laid down in bed next to Vander. I fluffed my pillow and hit my hand on something hard... I lifted to pillow and discovered a book. I opened the front cover...
And their was a note...
Dear Queen Velvet Rose,
I wrote this because I had to leave the party early and couldn't explain it to you in person... Anyway this is a journal... I have kept a journal since I got on the boat and came to the island, you probably do not know this because I have written in secret. Well, the point of this journal is for you to carry on my legacy, tell the story in your view, I am aging and once the twins are adults I will be elderly and shortly pass... I had to give you this sooner or later. This book is full of empty pages for you to fill in with your life stories and journeys.
-I love you dearly and enjoy this
Your mother Sterling Rose who also wrote in journals.
