Dear Journal,
Its Velvet's party day!  But I told her she should study her painting skills before she has friends over. Her painting skills are better than mine! And since she has also already chosen her life time wish (master painting  and guitar skills) She better get working!

Now its party time!

Velvet is in her swim suit and is ready for the guest to arrive

And there they are! Alison, Julia and Leah! All in their suits and ready to swim.
They started by playing tag and making leaps into the pool.

Then after 2 hours of partying it was time for the girls to leave.

The party was AWESOME! I recall hearing Velvet yell!

My little partier is all party out!
And just keeping up with them made me tried out too!

Dear Journal,
Today was a sad day...
 Mom passed away...

We all gathered around the piano and sang some mourning sounds as we all dressed in black. She passed of old age. We said over and over again
"May she rest in peace, mother, mother, mother, love forever, love for always, together..."
I cried the most I think...
There isn't much I can really say...

Dear Journal,
I am still I a bite of shock after moms death but I have to move on and focus on raise my two children. Velvet is now in the 3rd grade! Due to being super smart she got to skip a grade and she might skip fourth too but we will see how she does a grade ahead.

Susu did Vellie's hair again so she will fit in better being so young for her grade only 8-years old and in 3rd grade! She says her classmates are 9-10 years old. Wow!

Its spring! Now Velvet rides her bike to school and back and so does most of her friends. But now she is older she has "Princess Duties" She has to sing the anthem at a big rugby game and she has to help teach a painting class at her school.

But her painting skills are exceptional! She is getting offers now for around 100$! Amazing truly amazing! She said to me the other day at breakfast that she wants to write a book too! I told her to go for it!

She told me that she gets asked for her autograph a lot.  Wow I can't believe how famous my daughter is becoming!

This is Velvet's latest painting that she sold for 96$ and called it Swirls of Paris.

Dear Journal,
Bye dad... My last parent...

Oh lord why!  Is love really a good thing or is it evil in disguise? I just don't know anymore! The things people love never last! Why? is my only question.

Dear Journal,
There is going to be a large time gap between the last entry and this one only because I was is depression for very, very long and now well look for yourself!

Its Calvin's birthday and Velvet's tomorrow...

Look at my little Calvin Troy as a kindergartener! I hope he gets to progress in school as fast as Velvet did.

Velvet is now in 8th grade and is going to be in 9th grade soon.  She is 12 now.
She will be a teen tomorrow and a young one!

Dear Journal,
Happy Birthday too Velvet!

She is put into advanced arts programs at school.

At painting level 7, guitar level 3, piano level 2, writing level 3 she was asked to be in high school at age 12.

She is nervous about fitting in so she said she was going to try out for cheer-leading and possibly dance team. I told her it was a grand idea.

Dear Journal,
I had to drive Velvet to school today. It was her first time at the big school. And after school she had cheer try outs.

And this is Velvets new uniform!

When she came home on the bus she ran through the door yelling something... I couldn't understand her but I came running.
"What darling?!? What is it?!?" I asked
"I MADE CHEER TEAM!" She screamed pulling  her uniform out of a bag! I hugged her and she was so excited.

Dear Journal,
This morning as I went to take bath, I paused and glanced the the mirror to discover... a gray hair!  I yelled for Velvet to come... When she arrived she gasped
"Mom! Mom! Whats wrong?!?"
"A gray hair! I see one! What do I do! I am too young!  Only 39! No, no! It can't be! I wanted to..." Then I paused as Velvet grabbed me by my shoulders.
"Calm down! There is an easy fix!" Velvet assured me.
"What is it?" I asked excitedly.
"I will bring you tomorrow..." She said leaving the room.

What could Velvet have planned for me?  Hmm... I wonder.

Dear Journal,

I took Velvet out of cheer practice early today. It was bloody hot anyway! She directed me to a L shaped building in the center of town.  A man greeted us and said we had an appointment. Velvet pushed me through the door and onto a platform.

I am at a salon I realized! The man began circling me. Then he put rubber gloves on an began squirting tubes of tinted gel into a bowl, mix it with a rubber brush and sat me down. He washed my hair and began painting my hair! I wondered what was going on... painted hair?!? What a horrible idea! My hair will be a stiff and crunchy! But I went with it because Velvet had planned it. Then my hair was wrapped in a towel and the man began picking out clothing. He got my a new casual outfit and sleepwear.
This is my new hair and casual wear!

Now... Here is my before pajamas...

The man said to me "Darling! You are QUEEN! And not gonna be queen of the bedroom in that!" He the took me to the back room and I picked out a blue and white outfit...  Then he slipped me a piece of paper. I began to read it out loud and he stopped me and said "SHH! To yourself my dear!" He winked at me  ;) then I  ;) winked back! What a great idea I thought.  We packed up and we went home. My hair was soft and pretty! Not crunchy!

Now it was time to do what the fashion style man said. It was late a night the kids were in the pool swimming.

I put my sleep wear outfit on...

You can guess the rest...

Dear Journal,
Today Velvet and the rest of the Sunset Valley Private High-school  Cheer Squad are coming over for practice before the big summer parade.  Velvet is tiny and is the "Flyer" which means they throw her in the air while she spins and then they catch her she also does these stands on peoples hands.

Everyone is here and are out by the pool.  Look at Velvet! She is doing GREAT!

Practice seemed to being going well until Calvin appeared.  I was taking pictures from the garden because Velvet didn't want me to watch practice even though I was  :-X.  I felt snoopy... Then Calvin said to Velvet "Move your singing squad so I can swim!" Then Velvet responded with "No, I am not moving you go swim some other time!" Then she began ignoring Calvin and walked back to practice the final cheer.  That's when Calvin walked by Velvet. I didn't think much of it until SPLASH!

Calvin had pushed Velvet into the pool!  I wanted to scold him but I wasn't suppose to be there. So I watched angered. The squad gasped and one whispered to the other. Then they all lifted Calvin up and tossed him effortlessly into the pond then helped Velvet out. I chuckled. Then I saw Calvin's head pop up. I made my way inside. When I got there Calvin was soaking wet standing in the door way gasping and sobbing telling Vander that the girls had thrown him into the dirty pond. Then I blurted in before Vander could go and scold Velvet. I told the other half of the story. Then Vander ordered Calvin to take a bath and go in his room for the rest of the night. It was only fair.
