The Journal of Sterling Rose: Final Chapter (Story Complete)

Dear Journal,
Lunch Yesterday was... not good! The food was fine but the conversations were terrible. It started with this.
"So how is Drake? I am surprised he didn't come with you..." Mom said sounding very sweet. I wanted to spit out my food when she said that! Then I realized... she doesn't know! She had know idea about the break up! Oh gosh...
"Ummm... well..." I said in shock.
"Things not going well?" Mom said concerned.
"Not at all... I am sorry you didn't know but he cheated on me and I kicked him out with his girl friend and they left for Bridgeport, he said he hates me and Amber..."  I said this all very fast and upset.
"Oh my goodness! How did I not know!" She said quietly.
"I don't know mom..." I said. The rest of the lunch was quite until we got a call. Mom answered it.

"Hello?"
"Oh hi Vander!"  She said so cheerfully.
"WHAT?!?  I WILL MEET YOU THERE!" She hung up and slap a 20$ bill on the table.

"We have to go now!" Mom said with tears in her eyes. I asked no questions and told the waiter we had an emergency and had to leave. We rushed out...

When we came down that street I knew what had happened...  we were at the hospital.  The twins were sick.
I ran in with mom. The babies were in the ICU... poor things both had caught a deadly cold... who knows if they will survive. I hope they do... they have a great future! But we will not know until some very long medical tests.

Dear Journal,
Today I visit the hospital.  Amber has her last day of school today (before summer break) I have an adventure planned for me and Amber.  Mom and dad were already at the hospital. 

I entered the lobby and the lady at the desk welcomed me up to the twins room. Oh please let the twins be ok!!! When I entered the room I saw the twins. Gold was coughing hard and Silver had a mask on that helped her breathe. It was a lung disease of some sort.  Mom was sobbing and dad was comforting her.  I asked the doctor on his way out...
"Are they going to make it?" I whispered.
"If we don't see a serious improvement in the next hour... no, they won't make it..." He said very sadly.
"Thank you for the information..."  I said trying not to cry... I had a heavy heart. Very heavy.

An hour later Silver died... Gold was doing better and was going to make it...

Dear Journal,
I am very upset about my sisters death but... I must continue and surprise my own baby Amber. The surprise is... we are moving into a neighborhood across the street from Calvin, Staci and Eden and it's only me and Amber. The house is a small beach bungalow that I know she will love. Amber is just like me even though she looks like Drake mostly. I took Amber to the house...

I had a blind fold on Amber's eyes when we walked in the door I yelled...
"WELCOME HOME!"

She hugged me and said it was perfect... I was pleased.

Amber decided to work on her painting skills while I plays some classics on my guitar...


Then I got a call Mom wanted me to put on my Day of Mourning dress and come to the opening of Silver Rose's memorial. I  dropped Amber off at Staci and Calvin's and drove to the memorial. Let me explain what a day of mourning dress is... All royal women have the exact same one and its to show royal regards to the dead and their loved ones. In this case I'm the loved one but I still had to wear the thing any way.

When I arrived a old women was tossing white rose petals in the air. I walked over to greet her.


"Hello miss... How are you?" I said kindly. Wondering what she was doing.
"Hello... oh Princess!" She hugged me.
"I am so sorry for your loss!" She said looking at me sweetly.
"Thank you dear... May I ask what you are doing?" I said.
"Oh you see in my culture when someone that is loved very much dies you spread white flower petals around their tomb, or memorial... I picked white rose petals because she is Silver ROSE..." She said tossing more petals around.
"Thank you very much dear..." I said with a smile continuing to look at the memorial.

This is the outside of the memorial. There is stairs leading up to a small fountain a little plack on the wall says that this fountain represents the life of Silver Rose  and her flowing spirit.  Under this is a small room where her tomb is located with candles all around lit by the public.

The tomb was made completely out of Silver... Sterling Silver...

Dear Journal,
I am taking Amber to a water- park today! Its a surprise too! We had a limo drive us.

"TADA! We are at a water-park Amber!" I said.
"COOL!" Amber yelled looking around. We started with the sprinkler-fountain-playground.

Then Amber slid down a small water slide... she was too scared to go down the big one.

After that we went to the ROLLER-COASTER!

Then it was time to cool off in the pool and head on home... I think Amber had a blast and so did I!

Dear Journal,
Today is the last day of the summer vacation. Amber says she had so much fun... this makes me very happy in return. Well we are going out with a bang! The whole family is coming over for Amber and Edens birthday and we wanted it to be a big family gathering. Oh I think people are here!

There is my best friend Leah from Kindergarten and her twin Alison should be here somewhere... I went to college with Alison...

There is mom and Emerald (who is in college for dance).

And Sapphire who is going to be a play director. Oh and Eden is in the background...
Calvin, Staci, Dad Gold all came too but were not in the picture.

Happy birthday to you!  Add poof! For lack of a better picture of the b-day girls I will add another entry with the photo album of the girls grown up...
