As for the picture of the gnomes, How!? I have Never had an Egyptian gnome lie down or a French one lie down. Can you remember what they were on/looking at when they were in those poses?

I guess you were asking me?  Sorry, no idea how or when they happened.

That household has a large cellar complex, with separate display rooms for each country.  I just used that room [without a door] in the hopes of keeping the gnomes in one place ... as if!!  Whenever they wander, I just pick them up and put them back.  Eventually I just ended up with the ones you refer to.

I have a theory that since 1) I have never had a gnome run out of charges before and 2) I have never seen those poses before (Don't forget I use gnomes ALOT) that when a gnome runs out of charges they get stuck in that sort of position. I.e. the dead mummy, lying down Frenchman. Is that really far-fetched?

I went back to a game that I played before Ambitions came out and they have like 13 gnomes and of course, now they don't move.  I had read, if you kick them and stand them back up, they will move again.  Wrong, lol.  There was one in my sims inventory and then he got another one when he put some gems on the display shelf, but those are the only two that move.  I will post a picture of the gnome I could not find and finally found him.  He was hiding in the ingots and admiring them. Too cute. :)

I too had gnomes that did not move from a pre-Ambitions game.  I tried putting them in my inventory, tried moving them to a different place on the lot, tried kicking them and tried standing them up.  Finally I just gave up and placed them in the corners of the garden to act like sentries.   :(

I then acquired several new gnomes from Ambitions that moved all over the place.  One day, after several sim weeks went by, I noticed that two of my pre-Ambitions gnomes were missing from the corners.  I paused the game and went looking for them.  Finally found one of them deep in the basement and another under a flame fruit plant.  For some reason they started moving again.  :o  Don't know if the new gnomes told them what to do or ??   ???

I love their names! I own all the Harry Potter's except the one that hasn't come out yet lol. I cried at the end of the half-blood prince. Don't want to spoil the ending for ones that haven't seen it, but if you really want to know why, PM me!  ;D

That is too funny, was thinking the same thing.  I had mine in the garden too, now I have them altogether to see if they might move again.  Who knows.

Who wouldn't be fascinated by gold bars lying on a table like it's a normal place to store them?

A few pics of objects some gnomes like and others don't...

...But they're still gnomes, so they have one place in common!

That is awesome Pielord! I really need to play with gnomes more often. My Collector Challenge Sim had a couple but, other than that, I don't normally have any.

By the next morning they were all gone...  :D

My inventor gnome was perched on the work station that he was made on.  Then he disappeared.  I figured he had gone to gnomeville or something but no, just the garden.  So I kept watching.  My Simmie would go do gardening and find the gnome in her path and cuss him out.  It was too funny.  He just ignored her of course and focused on which plant he was going to snag next.  I really think he's been casing the garden for produce to bring back to his buddies because every time he's around a certain plant it goes barren.  Now I know that's a natural phenomena, but not after it just newly came to harvest mode!  I go to harvest and it's empty and dead and he definitely looks pleased with himself.
What?  Grannies can't play games?
I speak perfect Nooblik, (and some Simlish)!
