Yesterday my inventor woke up to 5 of his gnomes returned, regular and inventor types. The next night, while sleeping, there was a loud THUNK and a troglodyte appeared, and some gnome turned on loud music on both the top and bottom floors, waking up everyone in the household. While I'm not sure that's all the gnomes that went missing, it's interesting to note that some were there when first playing the household after the patch, and at least one appeared the next night.

As I was working on my inventor, something dawned on me:
-Mysterious Mr. Gnome
-Master Manchu (China)
-Little Leon (France)
-Sultan Sam (Egypt)

-Abracadabra (Laundry)
-? (Sculpting)
-? (Inventing)
-Troglodyte (time travel)

In all, 8 gnomes, and enough for the large Transmogrifying Display. Has me curious if there is a gnome recipe or not. Has anyone else noticed this or tried it on the table yet?

Hmmmm, I think I have heard of a recipe to get a Gnome but not make something with them?

Interesting thing to try.  Let us know if you do it.  I just keep selling off my gnomes as they get to be irritating after awhile.

Last night I collected the gnomes, but there was no option to transfigure them.  I left them alone and they got up to their usual antics.

My gnomes are back! Yay! It must be because of the latest patch.
I am collecting gnomes. So far I have 1 troglodite, 1 sculpting gnome, 2 normal gnomes, 2 chinese gnomes, 8 egyptian gnomes, and 9 french gnomes, all in my sim's inventory. When I have one of each I'm going to release them all on my lot

Mine are back too and moving everywhere and they are older gnomes, maybe they just needed a vacation in that underground gnome home.  haha.  I had never seen this pose before, I am sure it is not new, but mine had never done it.  He was also found in the bedroom of my sims with the same move.  They seem to be moving more and before midnight too.

Then I'm happy! I've lost countless inventor gnomes during this time. Maybe the bug has been fixed!

They do a bunch of poses.  I'm guessing there are 3 per Gnome.

So far ...

3 x Napoleon
3 x Sultan Sam
3 x Ninja ... I had the other one, but not in this household!

I'm working on collecting the pose variations on the others, but they're in different households.  So far I've seen ...

2 x Laundry Bear
2 x Inventor
1 x Troglodyte

I think some house-visits are needed to get them all in one 'safe' place.

How do you keep them from changing poses or leaving the box? You don't beat them, do you?

I don't see the one that I posted a pic of either.  It is funny, I still have not gotten any of the new gnomes that came with Ambitions, except the laundry gnome.  I try to collect them too, but you can't collect them if you don't get them, lol.

Oh, thanks!  That's my theory of "3 poses per gnome" flushed down the pan!!
