Sorry for double post but I'm wondering about other people's experience in this matter.  In another thread, Chuckles said

My experience has always been that the only gnomes that had babies were Mr Mysterious Gnome.   I get a new horse gnome every time a horse licks a salt lick but I've never seen a baby horse gnome.   Anyone else seen one? 


And about the new ghost gnomes.   I've only been able to get one once.  My witch sim died because her haunting curse backfired and it caused a haunting gnome to appear on her lot.  I heard you can also get one via the Claw Machine.  Anyone else have any experience with this?

I have never seen a baby horse gnome. My sim did catch more than one ghost gnome with the claw machine, they can haunt your lot! A real ghost appear and your sim can socialize with it. when the ghost disappear it go back into the gnome.

I have had tons of the pink "freezer bunny" magic gnomes. Apparently they appear when your dog barks at the fridge or your cat freaks out about the fridge.

When my sims just start out, I let the dog bark at the fridge and sell the gnomes.
All my dogs gain the noisy trait lol.

Pally the one from te claw are a toy. If you have a dog them it bark a few times and the gnome will pop up. They are funny lol, sometimes they ride something that looks like a llama. You can find one in buy debug if you don't mind cheating,

Wow I've had literally dozens and dozens of them and I've never seen the "llama" thing.  Man, now I really want to play sims and check it out.

For some reason I thought the dog gnome came from barking at the fridge, and the freezer bunny gnome came from eating ice cream - there's a freezer bunny ice cream treat that seemed to trigger it.

I can confirm that freezer bunny is from barking at fridge.  The dog one seems to be a chance from when someone becomes best friends with a dog.

Had a look on the guide, couldn't find anything on this. I'm trying to get 1 of every gnome without buydebug in one of my games, so am trying to compile methods to get each one, and get a full list of all the different gnomes. Below is a list of all the gnomes I've got before, and what I think the various ways of getting them are.

Mysterious Mr Gnome - Transfiguration, sending Metal to get smelted, Mausoleum, Miner
Sultan Sam - Exploring Tombs in Egypt
Little Leon - Exploring Tombs in France
Master Manchu - Exploring Tombs in China
Inventing Gnome - Random chance while Inventing, Miner
Abracadabra - Washing Machine - only the most expensive Ambitions one
Vampire Gnome - Plasma Fruit growing on lot
Bucktooth Butternut - Egg hunt
Troglodyte - Travelling back in time

There's also a load other gnomes in the buydebug that I've never seen before and am unsure on how to get them:

Mr Gnome's Generations Family - 2 Mysterious Mr Gnomes have a family - gnomes go nooboo to elder then die to get a Memorial to a Magic Gnome
Blingaboo - Gained as a rare gift at level 5 Celebrity
Brawn Brawn G'nome - Summer Festival / Spending time outside on the lot / Possibly Tanning
Carter Caninimus - Becoming BFFs with dogs in the house
Cracklin' Nackerbell - Fall Festival and Haunted House
Cranstan Boonitz - Magician Career?
Evil Mr Gnome - Similar to Mysterious Mister Gnome for obtaining one, also from just being Evil
Felix Felinimus - Cats playing with the Catnip Mouse
Freezer Bunny - When a dog barks at a freezer
Gnome of the Darned - Obtained via dying from the haunting curse
Lounge Lizard - When a Singer gives an epic performance
Sculpting Gnome - Random chance while sculpting
Zenyatta - Small chance when a horse licks a salt lick
s-gnome-man - Winter thing

And apparently the Consignment Store and the Claw Machine are good for getting a large number of different gnomes.
