I've been trying to get a laundry gnome for ages and no luck so far. I'm using the Ambitions EP washing machines and dryer. It's a bit frustrating as so far I have no Ambitions gnomes and only the vampire gnome from LN. With loads and loads of WA gnomes.

Thought I'd post a funny gnome picture. This little dude made me laugh so much when I found him.

You need to use the most expensive washer and dryer, from my experience it best works when I fill up like 10 machines at once(easiest way is dont use hampers then they go on floor and you can drag a pile into a machine) once all loads have been put into dryer queue up "get clean clothes" all at same time....I reckon it increases odds. just keep doing it that way it will happen!

anyone finds anything useful about these gnomes?
Some guys say their gnome gets them killed during the night and some say these little guys can revive dead plants, raise inventing completion process to 99%, etc.
Well all I've found out so far that these gnomes tend to appear everywhere in weird poses! that's it!

Well, they are created to cause trouble, in most cases. They can turn on the TV/stereo when your Sim is sleeping. I heard about the 99% invention completion process too. If the Magical Gnome of Invention appears next to a Scraptastic Workbench with an unfinished project on it, he will magically complete it to 99% complete.
Lastly, don't forget that you can sell them too! ;D They cost around one thousand simoleons each. Or use them as an exotic decoration...

P.S. Did you know that there is a gnome at the Goth household? :o
Well, that's your opinion, isn't it? And I'm not about to waste my time trying to change it. - Lady GaGa

My gnomes appear in the garden a lot, but they have never revived a dead plant for me. I guess they just like playing in the sprinklers as much as any normal sim does :P

There's a whole topic on gnomes if you want more information Huy. I recommend it, it's a fun and interesting read.

So I think they are both annoying and useful at the same time! that's too bad! because I'm thinking of having a bunch of gnome to help me take care of the garden! it's quiet large!

That explains why lilygirls links send me to the exact same topic I just came from: aka, this one. I thought it was a mistake.

Has anyone discovered any new gnomes for Generations yet? I'm thinking there could be one related to the chemistry set, but I haven't found any yet.

There are supposed to be different ages for the Gnomes with Generations, you can have Baby Gnomes and Old Gnomes, like the life states apparently!

Can you mix gnome genes? I like to see a mix between the inventor and the vampire gnome.

Not that I know of Leto, I don't have mine yet, it's released tomorrow in the UK.

Heres the post that Malteser shared.

Somewhere I read there is a gnome you can get for Generations but there is no way to cheat your way into getting the gnome.  So I have no idea how to get it yet.
