On first try, at the Laundromat, my Sim got an Abracadabra Gnome. However, on her third day owning it, it disappeared. I saw it. I've looked all over the lot and it's nowhere to be found! I love that Gnome and don't want to lose it, so can someone please help?

My gnomes are gone too! I had about 6 egyptian gnomes, and a napoleon gnome, and suddenly I can't find them! I thought I left two of them right beside the gate, and 2 near the front door... Oh well I hope to get some more.

Do you have to do the laundry yourself to get the teddy bear gnome? Or could you get one when your maid does the laundry?

My caveman gnome disappeared too. But I have an uncovered hole in the yard and I'm afraid he might be in the tunnels, so I don't cover it up. If he shows up again, then I'll cover the hole.

You can't dig him up?

You all know that all gnomes are in the buyDebug menu do you?
If you lose your gnomes, just replace them! :D

I hope EA is working on the disappearing gnomes bug, though.

Didn't see it mentioned here, but according to the Prima guide, if a gnome is left in a room with an unfinished sculpture or invention, the gnome may work on it overnight, and the next day , you check it and it is 99% done.  The one gnome I have found in my game so far sat next to my front door, until I planted a garden.  The next day it was sitting next to the plants, and has been there ever since.  I wonder...if it might weed or water for me?

Edit: Nope, just checked the game, and he's dancing with the trash can now *sigh*

For those whose gnomes are missing, have you tried looking in the fridge?  I have often found them hiding in there.  Guess they like to cool off.   :D

My little gnome found his way home, first he was not there or anywhere for that matter and then I looked and he was right back where he was when he left.  Actually, Leto, I did put one in a room one time, no doors or windows and he still got out, remember, they are magic gnomes or mysterious, or whatever.  I even looked in the fridge, like you said schipperke, but he was not in there.  I had read that too somewhere.

I've seen them disappear. There's audio bubble-pop sound, then they're nowhere in sight.

Yes I know, but I was surprised they didn't get out of it after I put them between four walls. They just stay there for about at least days, maybe weeks. but maybe I was just 'lucky' they didn't move.

I finally found an inventor gnome! :D

He was made by accident when my simbot tried to create one of those air fresheners. :)
