Uninstalling Expansion Packs

I've been playing sims with just the base game and Ambitions for a little while, and I want to install World Adventures. Having looked on this forum and EA site it says I should uninstall Ambitions and and then install WA followed by Ambitions. If I do this, will I lose anything in saved games? I've got the first ice sculpture already for my dynasty and so wouldn't want any of my ambitions content to disappear.

You should only lose content if you don't install Ambitions. Back up your save files (copy and paste them somewhere safe) so that, if something does go wrong, you have your save games there.
