Good. I was pretty confident it would work. For a while, anyone with 5-49 posts could do it while everyone else was locked out. Oops!

Oh and would you consider adding a red theme?

Sorry Thomas, no red theme.  For every theme that Carl adds to give the members some choices, he has to manually change each of them whenever he does upgrades to the Forum and it becomes an enormous amount of work.

Just so everyone knows, the darker green is the default color for the Forum now.  By going into your profile under Look and Layout, you can change it to a brighter green or one of four choices in blue.  I'm using the default green and love it.  We chose green as the default because of the green plumbob in Sims 3.  :)

Although I have another problem still, I can't upload a House and I've been trying since yesterday and Twinmum has uploaded a lot since then. I just get an error after about 30 seconds or something?

This should be corrected now. Us folks with slow internet uploads can't always get something out in 30 seconds, so I relaxed it to a more roomy 720 :P

Hm. Another error that popped up for me. When I tried to upload a home, it said

"Cannot Process, the home file may be too big." (Something to that extent.)

I had my contest build all planned out and can now not post it!  :(
It this a forum issue? I believe it is, because I have uploaded much bigger homes before.

 :-\

EDIT: Looks like it should be working (Carl's post said it should, one hour ago) but it didn't for me.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

I like the new style! My only gripe is that when viewing your PM inbox, clicking the subject line no longer takes you to the message.

It works for me.

I mean't that it timed out after about 30 seconds it can take mine a minute or two sometimes. I also got an error twice just now. I'll try seeing if I can attach anything like a Sim and not that house.

EDIT: I can attach Sims but not houses. I tried a separate house and it still didn't work.

Not sure if this is related to the upgrade or something different, but it seems downloads are broken at the moment. Everything is coming up as index.php when you try to download.
There was a thread about it started here.

*edit* I just tested using IE and it works. Seems it is a Mozilla problem.

Can I just say - I'm loving the WYSIWYG editor! (What You See Is What You Get editor) I just found the setting "show WYSIWYG editor by default" in my profile, and I love it!
Basically it configures the posting window for you so that the Arrow Button is automatically on. The Arrow Button displays formatting in the posting window, easing the need to preview the post.

I love the new site layout but I'm gonna be nit picky for a moment. The bright green and orange through out the site are just plain murder on my eyes.

So you either mean you've tried greengrass and don't like it because of the bright green notifications, or are you referring to the Yem Yepil theme? I looked in your profile and see you using Curve. Personally I don't like it. The greengrass theme feels like it fits the Sims theme in my opinion.  There's not a lot I can do if you've tried them all and don't like them.  :-\

It's the notifications.
I use the the blue verison because of the quotes they are easier to see.
By the way Carl I'm legaly blind and have photophobia it's where more light filters through my eyes more than a sighted person so everthing looks brighter to me, and don't worry i love the way it's set up.
