How to place fishable fish in pool?

I have searched the internet far and wide for this, but couldn't find any solution on how to do this. Does anyone know how I can put fish in a pool in a way my sim can still fish for them?
I'm trying to do this in a basement though.

I don't think you can stock a Pool with fish, I think you can only stock a Pond. Insane Sims and Children can fish in pools but I think the fish they can catch are just available for them through the interaction.

Unless you can put the Fish Spawners in the pool and try it that way? I don't know if that will work though.

That's what I've tried, but in Live Mode the fishes become invisible.

Did you get this idea from when people have had fish in pools to make their own fish tanks? If so they are not fishable, they used the Fog Emmiter to create the visual fish?

Yes, that's where by idea originally came from. So that is no possible? Good to know that now. And how about melting a pond in a pool? I've read months ago something like that was possible. Than Sims may can fish from there.

I believe that is only an illusion, I'v read something about it at the official website, what they do is they try to get the same color of wall to the pool as a pond, then they sue the rocks that came with riverview to blend them

Yeah, that's pretty much what you do. I've made one before (Side Note, always make sure there are two seperate ladders out of the pool...)



Although you can combine the two, using constrainfloorelevation false I think it looks glitchy though because the pool water level stays the same height even if the Pool walls are changed.

You might be able to add a Basement Window to it? Although if you just have a Pool and don't alter the constrainfloorelevation and just add rocks around the edge of the pool at the bottom I suppose you could. I don't know but you'd have to experiment.
