One Calamity Pulls The Other

We all pitched in taking care of the toddlers. Besides teaching them to go potty ,talk and walk ,we also made sure they had lots of fun.






The kids enjoyed playing together.



As a baby Lorne got a doll from a relative in the mail and named him Doyle.
Drusilla had to settle for a car.



And before we knew it, it was time for them to grow up again.
This time we had a  party.

Lorne blew out his candles.

But then Grim decided to pay a visit.
R.I.P. Renauld Vanderburg.



Begging didn't help much.



Finally Drusilla got to blow out her candles.

A trip to the mirror and a new wardrobe for both kids.





The next day the kids had their first school day and we all decided it was time for another family member.

Say hello to Bogey Galway.

So with our newest addition to the family, the kids growing up, and the fact that we had saved up some money, (and both Jessica and Nicholas inherited some money) ,it was time to give the house a make-over.

It's not quite done yet, but for now it looks like this :



Not long after the contractors left the sky started to get dark.

Oh my word!  Please tell me your sims and your museum are okay...  I've been playing for almost a year now and I have yet to see a meteor hit (thankfully).

Thank you both for your concern.
As soon as that message came up I paused the game, and then I was like " oh no this is so NOT happening to my family". Not to mention that it's my first official Dynasty and I just used several hours, three days in a row, looking through house plans, remodeling ,coloring and furnishing the house.
Then I had everyone run for their lives and they all made it, so thankfully nobody got killed.

I thought it hit the house at first, but I only had to replace the front door and actually made a profit from selling the meteors. The biggest one was worth 25000, so I was lucky.

The museum is fine, thank you.
It looks like I get those  frequently  in my game files. Or I get the bug infested one  
I prefer the bugs over the meteors, easier to deal with and not so scary.

Yeah it was horrible and I was really lucky it only took out the door and no one got killed.

Kids will be kids

Lucky enough nothing crucial got damaged when the meteor hit and everything quickly went back to normal.
Jessica and me have both maxed painting. Cassidy has maxed sculpting and Nicholas has maxed both fishing and gardening. He's working really hard on maxing cooking. We all have our life time wishes fulfilled and I only need one more brilliant painting done to supermax painting.

I am very close to have fulfilled all the requirements for immortality.


A couple of days after the meteor hit we had a fire. Someone forgot to put out the fireplace. Only a few items were damaged ,but I wonder how many more incidents like that is going to happen, sometimes it feels like this house is cursed and not just me.



After dealing with the fire, we had pancakes.



Except Drusilla often wanders of and do her own things. The devil sometimes get the better of her and she pulls a lot of pranks.



I  sure hope no one heard that.



Jessica got scared when trying to play games on the computer.



It's like Drusilla and Lorne are day and night. He never pull pranks.
Instead he plays a lot with Doyle and sings to him.



Drusilla and Lorne love spending time together.
It's like they connect and he gets her odd behavior.



Even when she talks about taking over the World .




When they are not playing together, they like to do their own things .



They do look like angels when they sleep, and it's hard to believe it's time for them to become teenagers.



But first Bogey had his birthday. He's an adult now.



Time for Drusilla and Lorne to have their birthdays.
One minute they were children.



And the next , teenagers.



A shopping trip to get new wardrobes.





And Doyle also had his birthday.

I am so pleased that  everyone survived the meteor strike.

I had my first ever meteor when playing my first dynasty luckily I had the fireproof homestead LTR and only the garden was destroyed.

Meant To Be

Drusilla and Lorne are working hard on some of their skills.

Lorne plays the guitar and Drusilla has started working on ice sculptures.



Drusillas insanity doesn't seem to bother Lorne.



Not even when she claims  broomsticks are alive and one day she will tame one to fly on.



On the other hand , she understands him when he claims Doyle exists.



So Lorne asked her out on a date.



Which was a huge success  for both of them.




And ended  with them going steady.



Lorne asked Drusilla to the prom and before they went, they spend hours in front of the mirror getting ready.




It was a huge success. They were like glued together all evening. Drinking punch and doing the chicken dance.
And they were voted  prom Queen and King.



When they aren't together or skilling, Drusilla is her old self. Doing pranks.



Lorne spends time with Doyle .



So much time , he doesn't seem to have any privacy when he's with Drusilla.



Then he gets a  phone call with an offer he can't refuse . A quick trip to town and he brings home a present for Doyle.



And voila. Doyle turns real and Lorne and Drusilla can have some privacy.




A big surprise for all the rest of us who didn't really believe Doyle existed.

We didn't have much time to think about it though, cause once again a lot of birthdays were up.
This time without bad stuff happening.

Oh one thing did happen. Bogey came home with fleas and I needed to give him a bath.

Kids On Fire And 7 To Go.

I was ready for my first taste of ambrosia, but decided to wait until after the kids had graduated.

But first it was time for them to grow up again.

Lorne was about to blow out his candles when...



Oh yeah his cake caught fire and so did he.
Doyle tried to help him, but didn't succeed so Lorne took a run for the bathroom.



When trying to help him, Doyle got caught in the fire.



It was a really close call, but we got the fire under control, and the kids could finally blow out their candles.






The kids rushed to get new hair and wardrobes and didn't bother having cake so Bogey had their.

The next day was Graduation Day and Doyle decided to start on his cooking skill and made breakfast.

Lorne was voted as the most artistic one and Doyle was voted most likely to burn down own house.



When we got home Nicholas immediately made me my ambrosia.




I was feeling scared at first, but I knew there were no other way if I wanted to stay human.
