Can't finds Hotspots

Seriously, I have my sim read the newspaper until she folds it up and all I get is a report on the Llamas. I do it multiple times and it never works. I read somewhere else that it's a mod glitch but I don't use mods. Can anyone help?

Have you tried it in a different game file?  That would determine if it's a corrupt file or if it's a global issue.

I actually have tried it with another game file last night and still no luck.

I know this is a silly question but you are in a town where there are possible hotspots right?  Also, you have Late Night installed?  And this is happening over the course of several days not just the first one?  There is almost never a hotspot the first day of the game for some towns.

Yes I have Late Night and I am in Bridgeport and it has happened over the course of several days.

Do you have Pets?  I'm wondering if the latest patch messed something up for you.  Have you tried finding out about hotspots through gossip?

I don't have Pets but I'll have to try the gossip thing, maybe that's just what I need.

There have been momenbts in Bridgeport when there is nothing happening one night; but, other nights you can 3 Hotspots. The nights that appear ded, throw a party or crash one.

Wish I could throw a party, but my game is incredibly slow and a party just makes me wanna through my laptop out the window. Anyway I tried the gossip and went to a supposed hotspot. Supposed because there was nobody there.

Guess it is due to your slow computer then, because the game places limitations to how many sim can be in one lot, also that happens, Plasma 501 is usally the place with most sims, because they get stuck there a lot, try resetting your town using "resetsim * " and try again on several days
