Gorgeous opulent stately home fit for all discerning residents of millionaires’ row (and 60x60 lot). Decorated to the previous resident’s standards, Stone and marble flooring adorns the lower levels of the house creating a clean and cool yet homely atmosphere. There is a 50’s diner inspired kitchen with all the mod cons leading directly into a lavish dining room that has an air of sophistication and wealth. Across the hallway there is a combined living and family room, where the current resident entertains her children whilst writing her tales of adventures from far across the seas.
Behind the stairs there is a convenient half bath and laundry room.

Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms; one is currently being used as butler quarters. A lavish master bedroom complete with a state of the art hover bed and a beautiful en suite. There is a girl bedroom inspired by soft pastel shades and opulent four poster beds. The nursery has been decorated using an African safari theme. The shared children’s bathroom is decorated using whimsical green to inspire cleanliness. There is a small study area at the top of the stairs.

The garage block boasts two parking spots for cars and two bike racks for your convenience. There is a suite at the back of the garage, this could use some tender loving care as it is currently being used as the artist studio. The current owner enjoys immersing himself in poverty to experience the thrill painting and sculpting first gave him.

The back deck boasts a modest pool and entertaining area, fit for any party you wish to throw. There is a romantic hot tub retreat. The yard is beautifully landscaped and includes a fully stocked pond, a Zen garden. A mature but small fruit and vegetable garden which is partially hidden by an amazing and relaxing fountain sculpture created by the homeowner. There are two gardens for the children to play in that have been beautifully maintained and a fire pit area to enjoy on cool fall evenings.

I am pleased to note that all the stonework in this beautiful residence was engineered from stones the homeowner collected from all around the world. There are artefacts that you are unable to buy in this country that are hidden gems in this house. This house comes fully furnished; everything you see is for sale.
Thank you KJ Reality Co.

Nice work, but the backyard games (shuffleboard, foosball) seem out of place. The colors also seem a -bit- overdone.
Good job though  ;D

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

With all due respect I didn't ask for constructive criticism or tips.

I was proud of this build until this moment. I worked hard on it and I like the colors, because I painstakingly altered all the coloring.  I will in future refrain from posting a build unless it is part of the building contest.

Now I feel I must apologize for not living up to the exacting standards.

Kindest Regards KJ

@ZapKid:

Where in KJ's original post did you say anything about comments or constructive criticism being welcome?  It's our standing policy on this board that criticism only be given when the builder specifically asks for it.  Apparently, this hasn't sunk in and I'll be making a Forum-wide announcement about it.

I'm sorry, KJ.  This isn't how we intended this board to be run.

Oh my, I love that dining room! I really need to look more at how people decorate and furnish their homes here. I have so much to learn in that area.
I also looked at the rest of the pics of the house, it's great having the gallery so we can see more. I did like that added touch of the dirt track under the swings, made it so realistic.

First, sorry for posting that constructive criticism. I sort of forgot it was only allowed when asked. I guess I should give advice less often.

KJ, I hope you realize that my feedback is not the basis of your home. It's not like I'm a strict judge or anything  :P It is a really nice home and there was nothing wrong with it.

So overall, sorry. I will watch my words more often.

KJ, this is beautiful! I love the business of the colours, they work so brilliantly together and you most certainly have pulled them off! The gardens are amazing, too, this is definitely a 'dream' of a house. :D
