How do I add bouncers and mixologists to my own bars in Sunset Valley?

Hey guys,

sorry if this has been answered, but I couldn't find a thread regarding this.

I'm about to make my own bars and clubs to add to Sunset Valley, because I find the premade ones from LN don't really fit in SV.
But I read somewhere that you have to add bouncers and mixologists, however I couldn't find out how to do it.. Does anyone know?

Mixologists get hired automatically, bououncers get hired if you have the velvet ropes. You can also decide who can get through them and set a bribe price. All you have to do for a mixlogist is have a bar that they can use to make drinks, but you can also set the lot as a bar and I believe they'll serve all the drinks. They only sell one if you have it as a hangout.

Thanks so much, I found the ropes now! What do you mean with the above sentence, they only sell one what.. one drink?

Do you know if the VIP-ropes also come with a bouncer, I mean if you create a VIP area inside a bar (that already has ropes outside)? Hmm.. hope that sentence makes sense!  ::)

Also, I don't remember Eugi's bar having ropes in Bridgeport - is the rope all for more fancy places? Or is there any restriction on which kind of bars/clubs should/need ropes?

Yep the mixlogists only sell 1 drink in a hangout as far as I know. The ropes allow you to decide if you want to make an area just for Sims that have 1 or more stars, they also allow you to decide which occults you want to let it. As far as I know the ropes are for VIP sections, You can choose the star level and the amount that they can bribe the bouncers if they don't have the needed level. The ropes are for more fancy places because that's where the ''famous people go.''
