That's actually a good idea. It is a rather huge thing to work on and I would love input and advice from others. I'll write up a brief, with history outline and notes and post it asap.
It is still in the very early planning stages so it will be a LONG time before it is ready to play. Particularly because I want to do all custom designed building and community lots as well as rabbit holes. Plus I want to populate it with a large number of custom sims to help fit the over all setting I have in mind.

I'll post the threat link here as well, hopefully I can get a few people involved at least in the concept and idea stage. The hardest part will be putting together a list of everything I need and want to build. After that its the easy but LONG task of actually building it all!

No need to worry about mods. I'm far from a techie, though what exactly is Custom Content? Does that mean I cant edit the colour and texture of things from the game pallet?

Hi AJ - your world sounds fascinating and I'm excited to see how it progresses.

Custom content refers to items that are created by someone other than EA that are intended to replace an EA item (e.g., hair, clothing, furniture, etc.)  Items you find in any EP, SP, and in the EA Sims 3 store are all allowable.  You are also allowed to recolor those items in CAS as you choose.

I hope that helps.  Pam and Mods, if I have misspoken please feel free to correct as needed.

Just an idea:  For input or help with some of your buildings, maybe you could submit an idea to the building contest.  That way you could see several different ideas for a building that might have you a little stuck or something.
