Sent Home from Boarding School
« on: November 13, 2011, 12:14:11 PM »
Today I was playing and sent my Sim child off to Smuggsworth Prep School. I have the child aging as really short so about an hour (human hour, not sim! haha) passed and I got a pop-up on the screen that said "Charlotte is sick of the snobs at prep school. Can she come home?"

I was just wondering if anyone else has seen this happen before? She was supposed to age up the next day anyway, so I don't see the point in coming home that early. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Yes. Once I let them come home, and another time I said no. It's your choice. I sent my own daughter to boarding school and made her stay until she graduated.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was some odd glitch or not. I haven't played Generations features too much but I'm really liking this added functionality!

That has happend to me several times from several schools. I mostly take them home if they are so unhappy there.
Anyway I was wondering, how did you know she was going to age up the next day? I mean they are greyed out and can't be chosen. So do you have a trick or are you just good at keeping track of the days?

I just had kept track of the days. She was supposed to age up the same day the toddler was supposed to age up to child, so I just looked at the toddler's age :)
