Weird glitch on the Sims 3 (ps3)

Ok so my wife in the game just got promoted, she got home and I checked to see how long I had until I had to go to work (like do every time I  get promoted) it said I had 6 hrs until I had to go back to work. I made her go to the bathroom, take a shower, and then go to bed. She automatically got up, but there was 2 hrs until I had to go to work so I went back to bed so she can get a little more sleep and then make her go to work at the last minute. Well I looked to see when the car would be there and the dang thing said I don't have to go to work for 3 days? I was the like the heck? This has happened 3 or 4 times since I've had this game, all times have been on this save. Has this happened to anyone else?

This happened to me once with my pets. Both pets were pregnant, and later when they could go back to work after maternity leave. I was ready, had my pets full in every stat, and 4 hours to go, 4 hours later it said 6 days. I got no money and was just going to make them quit after it happened about 4 times. It fixed itself though. I don't know why it happens.

We've seen this happen quite often in the PC version of the game with promotions in certain professions.  If it's a profession that has afternoon and evening hours, the promotions can seem to mess up their schedule, but it's because of the change in work days caused by the promotion.
