How to find a gravestone?

A close family friend died on my lot. I looked all over the lot and graveyard and couldn't find the gravestone. The ghost appears here some nights, so I suspect the stone is hidden somewhere on the lot. Is there any reliable way to find it? I've searched all over but can't seem to locate it.

Listen for the music on slowest speed when the ghost comes out at night. Hit pause when you hear the music and look around for the ghost. The tombstone should be right there close by.

Another thing to watch for is when the ghost returns to his grave at 5:00 or 6:00 a.m.  There will be a yellow surge of light which is the ghost returning.  Pause and follow that light to find the tombstone.

If none of that works, try going to the cemetary in the daytime and click on the mausoleum and choose Manage the Dead.  Look and see if the deceased's name is on there.  If so, put it into your inventory and then you can place the head stone on the ground somewhere.
