Thanks Kiko! I was just trying to go for something simple and similar in style to what I grew up with. Also, a house without any store content since my last one was rather heavy with it.

Very nice and rustic feeling.  Reminds me of Old Yellowstone Lodge.  I love it.

I'm glad you like the build. Unfortunately, I found after playing it for a few hours that once in a while my sim decides the stairs to the loft aren't to her liking and won't use them. Funnily enough her cat and dog haven't had this problem yet. I'll throw a fixed version into the first post probably later today when I'm on my computer again.

They may be too narrow for her.  Try a double staircase or spiral stairs.  I really love this house.

I love the ranch also but it does have an awful lot of store and freebie items in it.  Any way you could do a build without them, just using every EP/SP?

I'll mess around with the stairs tomorrow, I ended up not having enough time to do it today and it's nearing bedtime now. I can do a version without the store content, it'll take me a day or so unless I find enough time tomorrow to do it.

Dellena is right, it's Bed & Breakfast. I didn't build it in the traditional sense of "normal" B&B's but I had seen a few in the country where I grew up that were on ranches, more commonly known as dude ranches. But, that didn't sound right in the title of the place so it became a B&B.
