One of the sims in my family disappeared.
« on: November 04, 2011, 01:47:33 PM »
I have this big family that I have been working on for quite a while, with 6 kids.  I started up my game today and one of them is not able to be played.

The left side of the screen, with the little icons of each Sim: his is just a green background with no face.  I cannot click on him.  When I do it makes the sound as if I have switched to him, but it still shows the needs/wishes/face of the Sim I had selected last.  He is not in the family picture.  I tried to reset him, tried to reset all sims, moved them out of the house and back in.  IDK what else to do.  Tell me he is not lost forever!!! :(

Hello punkrockmama and welcome to the forum. I have had this problem before, and while I was able to fix it, this fix has not worked for everyone. Here's what I did, step-by-step. I went to the Edit Town screen and I clicked on the family. I then clicked the Copy to Library button and then clicked the option to copy them with the house. Once they were safely in the library, I deleted the bugged family and house. Then I placed the copy back onto the same empty lot. I hope this works for you!
