Training Air Guitar

I know for sure Supersim has that trait, as I've snapped him playing Air Guitar at a time, but unless I am mistaken (by the information on Google) Air Guitar is also a skill, say it hidden.
So now I'm wondering: how can I train Supersim in this skill?

Side quesion: aren't you guys afraid burglars will come to your house to steal your sims air guitar?

Air Guitar is indeed a hidden skill, but almost nobody knows how it works or how to train it.  Some people claim that you can only get it with a mod, but I know for a fact that this is not true.  I don't use mods and I've had a couple of Sims with it, however I don't think there's any way to actually train it yourself.  You kinda just have to let your Sim do it.

From what I can tell, it seems to be somehow related to the Rocker hidden trait that you get from the Rockstar career.  Does Supersim have this trait?

No.  My Sims keep their air guitars in a very safe place.  I can't tell you where, though...it's a secret!

Absolutely. And so does Max Skills, which I have forgotten, but he has worked himself up to be a Rock Star and than you will unlock that trait. They also both have the Immune To Fire trait.
Supersim is my only sim that has them all.

Pitty. I simply don't know where they put him. Must be in their inventory or so, but there seems to be a bug in my game that makes Air Guitars invisible. Let's contact EA. (Would be a wonderful april fool. )

Lol, sounds like a great idea for an extremely wordy complaint thread for the official forums!  I think I might know someone who excels at such things, too.

You're sure that was Air Guitar you saw? Though I thought the loopings they makes sometimes while wearing the Goggles are very alike with the loopings made on the trampolines, by higher hidden skilled sims, so it might be.

Oh heavens no.  I was referring to the EA forums. 

The only time I remember seeing air guitar was when my Sim was playing with the SimLife Goggles.

Now that you mention it, I remember seeing this a few times as well (although mine tend to opt for action/adventure SimLife experiences).  However, I've also seen Rockstar Sims do it without access to the goggles.  There's just no way to make them do it yourself.  It seems to be one of those things they do when they're idle.
