Just WOW! That's probably one of the best ever Sims tip... if not the best. Thanks so much Ricalynn.

I want you guys to know I checked this thread this morning and now I'm blushing.  I blame all my MMO experience for figuring it out and it never occurred to me that this might not be a well known tidbit so I'm sorry I never thought to share it before.   I do remember being really frustrated and then that combination actually just kind of worked so I've been doing it ever since.

You're all very welcome considering everyone who has said thank you has helped me on more than one occasion with something from this forum/guide.

What are MMOs?

Massively Multiplayer Online. It's like The Sims Social (for lack of a better example) - a bunch of players playing simultaneously that can interact with each other.

WOW (world of warcraft) is possibly the biggest MMO example I can think of - but you have to pay a subscription to play.

MMOs generally refer to MMORPGs which stands for Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games.   Examples would be World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, RIFT (Carl & Metros MMO of choice), and Lord of the Rings Online just to name a few.  Some of them have paid subscriptions and some are free to play but it's generally a game that's always multiplayer.  You enter a world with your character alongside many, many others.

You see?  It pays to read some of the older pages.  After DAYS of shifting my less than perfect fruit out of the frig to the Sim who was going to use the lesser ones as fertilizer, THEN I read this.  It would have saved me sooooo much time, not to mention a sore thumb!  Thank you Rica!

Thank you Rica for this information. I'll be sure to pass it along to any other Simmers I know. What a timesaver!

Thank you Rica for this! It'll be much easier to play around with fishies and things now =3

Did you know that if you want to take the full stack of something (wolfsbane for example) out of one sims inventory into anothers' inventory, all you have to do is grab it by that triangle and drag it over to the sim portrait on the side and when the name pops up you can just drop it, and said stack will be in the second sims' inventory. Very useful when one sim gardens but another needs an item or three to make some elixers.

Ok.  I'm totally impressed.  Thanks Ricalynn for this tidbit.  I've been dragging one at a time for over a 1.5 yrs.  Wishing I could move multiple things.  This is wonderful and so is this forum.  I just happened to be browsing tonight and saw this tip.

Actually you can move a number of items at one time.   Hold down shift when you click on the triangle and drag it to the Sim you want to have the item.  Then a window will appear that looks like the one to give a nooboo it's name.  Just say the number of the item you want them to have and voila!

Wow! This really helps a lot. I've been wondering how I can be able to harvest and fertilize using two Sims instead of one more efficiently. Thanks Ricalynn!
