Getting the 'Oh My Ghost!' Opportunity for Multiple Sims?

This may be a little silly, but is it possible to get that same Oh My Ghost! opp for more than one sim in the same household? I know you can get repeated oppurtunities all the time but because this is such a rare one I wondered if it was an exception? For example, the father in my sim family has the Oh My Ghost! opp because one of the townies, who was an old friend of his, had died recently. But because I don't want to revive that particular townie, I just left the opp in his opps tab but didn't actually try to complete it. Thing is.. that father with the opp is nearing elder and eventually will die, so someday I'd like to revive him with this opportunity. So I have two questions, really: If the father of my household dies, will another sim in the household (they all have maxed out relationship bars with him) get the opp to revive him, or not because someone in the household already had it? And the second question is: Are elders able to be 'revived' in this way?

You don't have to revive the sim that initiates the opportunity.  Once you have it, you can revive any deceased sim, regardless of relationship.

I'm not sure.  I did get it back to back in a single household, but it's been so long that I don't remember if the first Sim accepted it or declined it.  But even if you can't have 2 Sims have the opportunity at the same time, once the father dies, he won't have it anymore.

Yes, but they're still elders.

Once one sim gets the opportunity, you can revive someone for free. Afterwards, you don't need the opportunity to revive a dead sim, but it will cost some money. (1,500, I think) So even if the father dies, the family should be able to resurrect him, at a cost.

I thought only the Sim who completed the opportunity could revive others. Either way, I know you can have it for multiple sims at a time. Also, you can revive that friend of the father and then just move him out.

I agree that it's only a Sim who has done the Oh My Ghost! opportunity can do them over again for a price at the Science Center.  It's not a household thing.

Also, you can revive that friend of the father and then just move him out.

You can also have the ghost Sim click on the tombstone in his inventory and return to the netherworld.  I believe this option is available immediately.

That's great news! Hopefully, when the father dies he will spawn the opp for one of the six remaining sims in the household, then.
