Ok, I'm sorry if this was answered before. But I cant seem to find it anywhere.
When do we move? After one of the sims reaches the career cap or only when both do. And if one reaches it before the other, can the first one change careers straight away or does he have to wait for the second one and the move?

I'm pretty sure, (and someone will pounce if I'm wrong lol) that as soon as someone reaches the cap you can move and they can change jobs. Then if the other Sim reaches the cap a few days later, you can move again and they change jobs.

I'm actually off to read this whole thread again to make sure I'm square with everything before I start playing.

The exact time of when you want to move has come up before and my answer was it's totally up to you. So, saving up moves is fine, or moving immediately after hitting the cap is also fine. Does not matter.

OK, I've re-read the whole thread, so I think I'm clear on everything. Now to go and check one or two things and I'm ready to jump in  ;D

Ok thanks, that's great.

I thought that may be the case, but when I looked through the thread must have missed it. Thanks for the clarification though.

Finally finished! Week 12 was a nightmare of glitches. It took me longer to play week 12 than it did to play the other 11 weeks. Thank you, Metro, for your help.

This was a very demanding but enjoyable challenge -- my favorite yet! (Of course, I say that after every challenge, but really, it's true.)

Bryan Mover and Kirsten Shaker reached the top of 17 different careers, and lived in houses worth $3,641,436.

3,641,436 x 2.7 = 9,833,277.

I've read this whole thread several times and haven't seen these questions. I apologize if they're obvious to everyone.

1) If I start in House #1, don't change anything, then move to House #2, does that mean I can buy/change 8 items in House #2? Or is there no rollover?

2) "Treat careers with two branches (i.e. Criminal and Music) as being unique careers" So Master Thief + Emperor of Evil (for example) = 2 unique careers?

There is no rollover, so you can only change four things at each house.

Yes, there are two career paths for criminal and music, so that is 4 different careers.

I was wondering..you say that nothing already in the house can be moved or anything, does that also mean objects can't be deleted?
If, say, I wanted to replace the crappy oven in the house for a new one, would that mean that i would have to find a place for it on the house, along with the existing one?

You can replace an item with a better one, but the new item counts as one of your 4. So  yes, you can delete the cheap oven and put in a new one.

I'm sorry but I don't understand how that is four careers?  Isn't it only 2.

I know it splits at level 5 and you choose which path.  So if you get to level 5 twice and pick each side it's only two careers right?

Sorry if it's a dumb question
