I have to say Rica, the purple on red is much easier on the eyes than the previous pink on red.

I have a confession to make. Angela's first 5000 happiness points went to changing her favorite color from spice brown to purple. I just couldn't do the spice brown thing when she was born

Actually spice brown and red would have looked really nice together, but purple is much more fun and sassy as befits Artie's daughter.

I'm sure it would have looked great but as soon as she was born I just didn't want to have the color. It was just the mindframe I was in at the time I guess. I think I just really wanted to do pretty clothes and couldn't figure out how to do that with spice brown at the time.

Just a status update. I've hit a bit of a snag. One of my save files was starting to Error 12 after 20 minutes and then crashing before I could try to save again. I realized that part of the problem might be attached to the tree of prosperity and it may have corrupted my save file. I'm in the middle of attempting to remedy this problem so here's to hoping that I can keep the game.

Otherwise Artie may be starting over again and this time after I actually patch up for Showtime.

In other words, say it with me friends. "Artie Behave!"

I can't think of anything to fix this. Everything I've tried except mods hasn't worked yet. I don't want to use mods because that takes Artie out of HoF running.

The cats aren't living or dying and they won't reset either so that would mean even if I kept going and managed to go several more generations I would be screwed because it's 3 cats which means I can only have 7 Sims.

I asked Metro and he said I was allowed to keep going without the Patch due to possible issues in my game. Maybe you could degrade, or can you only do that by reinstalling? I'm at 1.29 and will stay there till Showtime I expect.

My copy of Showtime will be available in 2 days time so I was going to get the patch regardless. Artie hasn't even immortalized himself (though in the save file he is very very close as in a day away probably) so to restart now isn't as horrifying as it was the first time. Plus when Pam went back without reinstalling she had a lot of problems with her game all of a sudden. It might be a good idea to leave. Hidden Springs gives me some horrible lag issues. I was really hoping for Xmas twins though.

Yeah, Hidden Springs is a great town but I also am starting to struggle with it. Must be because the whole place is mountainous or something. $:-\$

For those that didn't know. Artie's file got seriously bugged in the fact that all six saves and their backups was hit with missing pets problem. If not all three, there was at least one with a green square. I'm going to do a crossover post like I did last time but I wanted to share some of the things that happened that I didn't get to share for the Hidden Springs Grims.
