I'm 90% sure you can jump in and enter challenges whenever you like. :)

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Thankyou :D I practiced an aweful lot - and ironed out a lot of kinks. Totally can't wait to talk about strategy now!

And I cant wait to hear about the strategy you had!!!

My score is not nearly as impressive, but pretty good none the less. I hardley ever practice before any of the challenges. Maybe I should start.  ;)

Objects upgraded: 89
Percent of unique upgrades: 89%

89*.89=79.21

total score = 79

Cant wait to start on the next challenge. Had a lot of fun with this one!!

Thank you! I'll get started on it right away. :D Also well one doubt though. I hope it's not a stupid question. :S Well do I have to create a new game for every challenge? Like for the first one if I create a male handyman, can I also create a female sim for him and use that for the second challenge? Career Caps and New Digs?

These challenges seem fun. I'm gonna have a hard time trying not to use the cheat for keeping the needs static. I always end up giving in to my urge to use it even though I decide not to at the beginning of every game I start. Although I know I won't use them now that it's in the rules. B-)

I believe you need a brand new town for each challenge, with brand new Sims.

Good Luck!

...although there's nothing stopping you from re-creating the same sim or saving him to the bin before you play him, so you can have the same appearance and traits. You just can't save the sim with Handiness raised at the end of this challenge and then import him into the other one.

Well, I did lots of things that were not in the best interest of my final score, but that's what I get for not practicing LOL

Hannah McHandy reporting from Union Cove with a score of 94 objects upgraded, with 96% unique upgrades completed, for a final score of 90.

Not too shabby for a first challenge I'd say ;)

Thank you for the help! I have started playing and finished my first week already. Have loads of free time so I'm hoping on starting the second challenge by Wednesday. :] I doubt I'd even get 50 as my score though. :P

I hear you, sparkly!  I'm hit or miss with challenges.  This one was fun and I did pretty well, but many I bomb at or never finish.   :o

After four weeks (plus adventures) of incredibly intense hammering, Jonas Sim is done with his handiness-work. He and his neighbours (as well as fellow tourists) must be thankful that the sounds of hammers and wrenches late into the night and early morning have stopped.

Objects Upgraded: 444
Unique Upgrades: 93%

444 x 0.93 = 412.92
Final Score: 412

Had one practice run, which helped a decent bit. Career Caps is going to be a lot more involved (and messy), though!
Can't wait to hear Chuckles' strategy for this one.

Handy Manny is done.

Objects Upgraded = 296

% Unique = 100%

Total = 296 X 100% = 296.

Manny is putting down his hammer and heading back to his children's television show for a break.
