Sounds interesting!
So aging has to be set to "long"?

Correct. That's the setting needed for all 2012 Tournament Challenges.

The rules state that no additions can be made to the household.  My question is do butlers count as household addition?

Adding to the household means that a mini portrait has been added to the left side of the game screen. 'Nuff said.

"You are allowed only 3 vacations — length of each vacation is up to you."

I just want to clarify this...basically, 3 total trips...where is up to us...and if we make multiple trips to one location and earn longer stays, we can stay as long as we want....? We do not have to visit each location...or are we suppose to visit each place? Or can we ignore vacation destinations, even though it will probably effect our score?

Yay, I can start this in just over 4 hours (though I'll probably end up going to bed before then lol) Sent off a file to Carl yesterday that I've been working on so now I can jump in to the challenges. Think I might go and test one last thing in readiness  :D

Just to clarify, there is no restriction on buying/selling items right?
Also, we can join a career/profession/self employed?

(I am thinking of the correct challenge.)

Yes. The one where you can't buy stuff is the other one. This is the first challenge where the "If it isn't forbidden, it's allowed" ruleset kicks in...
