Treowse Manor Farm is a three bed, three bath, three reception, sizeable, old, Cornish, granite farmhouse that has been modernised in recent years and extended to include a roof terrace. Set in a spacious, well-fenced, 40x40 plot, the property boasts two paddocks, two stables, a hay barn, a well-stocked kitchen garden, a fruit orchard and a large green play area containing the signature tree house.  At the front of the property there is parking for two cars and a low-maintenance, minimally landscaped garden and small pond.

Welcome to Treowse Manor Farm.

Please note the exposed granite facings and the maintenance-free replacement windows and door.

The roof terrace is situated on top of the new extension and is accessed via a door from the top floor landing.

The hay barn and stable areas are fully serviced with both water and electricity supplies.  Please note that, if required, the hay barn could be converted to an additional stable.

Twinmum left some valuable feedback in the Contest Comments thread, thank you Norma:

@Gheez  Your house was quite spacious without being sparse, although the bathroom between the two bedrooms could have been bigger as you can’t get into the bath because of the toilet. I love the open sided shed, it was very nicely done. One ltrange thing I noticed. When you’ve placed the fireplace, you have removed the chimney except for the cap that actually releases the smoke. Because this is in the roof cavity, when you light a fire, the smoke just comes out from under the roof making it look like the house could be on fire.

Norma

Following on from this I've made an amendment to the bathroom and, following further playtesting, have slightly altered the walk-through dressing room because, in the original, it appears that the shoe rack stops a sim from using the dresser.

Here's the revised top floor:

The enlarged family bathroom.

The wider walk-through dressing room.

No other changes have been made... which means that the house will still look like it's on fire.   :-[ Oops, forgot to change that, sorry!
