Green and insane whats not to love.
Once upon a time there lived a beautiful princess. She lived in a little cottage in Hidden Springs where she attempted to hide away from her overbearing mother. Unfortunately this story is not about her it is about another young(cough) alright mature lady who also lives in Hidden Springs.She was said to be one of the fairy folk. Some people say that these people have magical qualities and they bring joy and laughter to those who surround them. These people have not met this Fairy.

Meet Emmaline Rhoen.

She is not the happiest or sanest of Sims.

Here she is after a make over. Not a big improvement I grant you but it was the best I could do.

Emmi found herself knocking on a strange door her feet had taken their as if of their own free will. What am I doing here she thought I should be at home grumbling about the weather or something.

Their eyes met and it was as if time stood still.
Voice:Yeah sorry about that my computer froze.
Emmi:I feel as if I have known you forever,my love.
Nick:I two let us away and marry this very day my fairest maiden.
Voice:Fairest,that is pushing it a bit don't you think.

Nick:Ah what bliss.
Emmi:I have you in my sights now my pretty!
Nick:What was that.
Voice:Hush Emmi don't let him know that you are insane just yet.
Emmi:I am not insane you know.
Voice:Yeah that will work.

Emmi:Kiss me you impetuous fool.
Nick:Hold on I need a dictionary.
Emmi:What for?
Nick:I don't know what impetuous means.
Voice:It means . Characterized by sudden and forceful energy or emotion; impulsive and passionate.Now get on with the romance.

Nick:Oh my god you got me a box,I always wanted a box.
Emmi:Marry me my love,my darling,my reason for being in this story.

Nick:Yes my darling,yes a thousand times yes!
Emmi:Soon my love we shall be joined for eternity.But first I need to nip home then ring you to come over with your car and any other expensive items you might have in your inventory.
Nick:Alright then.

So it came to pass that on week one day one the green goblin beautiful fairy married her prince.

Voice:Yeah it looks like she inherited the goblin genes.
Emmi:Fairy!
Voice:Yeah that too.What is her name by the way.
Emmi:She shall be called Serendipity...
Voice:That is a nice name.
Emmi:..But I shall call her Dippy.
Voice:(Face palm)

Thank you all for reading. I tried taking the serious approach to my story telling but that just isn't my style. I try to be funny and hopefully my readers find my writing amusing.
Emmaline seemed like the perfect choice for me she is insane and a different colour to the norm.As anyone who is reading Samoht's dynasty knows insane Sims are just naturally funny and a joy to write about. I really think that the insane trait needs to be passed on to all the Rhoen's.

Observant viewers will have noticed that again my Hidden Springs green nooboo is a darker green than her parent. I would be interested to know if anyone else has noticed this in their playing. There will be a second nooboo but it will be the last as Emmi is currently two days from elderhood so no chance of any more babies once this one is born.

My observation with my blueboos is that darkness is determined by how dark the other parent is, unless they're the same shade as the blue parent. But Nick doesn't seem very dark. It might be interesting to investigate where that shade of green is on the slider.

Nick:Emmi are you asleep?
Emmi:Not now I'm not.
Nick:Oh good your awake,do you think that it worked,are you having another nooboo.
Emmi:Didn't you hear the chimes.
Nick:No I had my mind on other things.
Emmi:(Blushes)that is so sweet.
Nick:So do you wanna...
Emmi:ZZZZZZ

The founders of our Dynasty decided that they needed to work on gaining happiness points and money. So Emmi worked on her LTW to be the culinary librarian.

Emmi:So why am I at the library.
Voice:Well,your LTW is to learn 28 recipes and you already know 24 thanks to all those new pet recipes.So just learn another 4 recipes and we are done.
Emmi:Done,woot I am so happy.
Voice:Well that was easy.

Nick:There you go a harvest as requested.
Gabriella:Thank you I don't know what I would have done without your help.
Nick:To be honest I just brought the produce from the grocery store.
Gabriella:Here is $200 for your trouble.
Nick:Really,they only cost me $20 to buy.

Nick:There you go another nice harvest for you Cassidy.
Cassidy:Thank you so much for your trouble,here is $250.
Nick:Again,I just went to the grocery shop,you people would spend far less on fruit if you just shopped for it.

Nick:But you said to stop blowing the party horn thing you never said anything about the noise maker.
Emmi:Nicholas Rhoen do not make me come over there.
Voice:Oh you are in so much trouble she gave you your full title.

Emmi:Nicholas if you do not put that thing down right now I am going to stick it .....
Voice:Family friendly please Emmi.
Emmi:Erm stick it in the errr garden out of the way.
Voice:That's better.
Little Dippy grew up into a beautiful little lady.Who looks as if she has inherited most of her fathers looks. She gets her skin and hair colour from her mum.

Authors note:Dippy's favorite colour is green and I wasn't sure a green Sim could wear so much green but I think she looks good in it

Meanwhile a new arrival is on the way. There are people that say that a woman is at her most beautiful when she is about to give birth.These people have never met Emmaline.

Voice:Wow scary face.
Emmi:Have you ever tried pushing out a nooboo.
Voice:Well to be honest with you no,I have had four C sections.
Emmi:Well don't judge me then.
Voice:No need to be snappy.Plus you haven't pushed out a nooboo either all you do is go sparkly and spin round no pushing involved at all.

Voice:Hello little baby girl.What is her name.
Emmi:Her name is Daffney but I shall call her Daffy.
Voice:Dippy and Daffy that is so appropriate for you Emmaline.

And you choise of founder is marvellous. She's insane and interesting looking - let's hope that the kids inherit some of her looks, not just the green colouring.

Growing up green.

Now as every parent of young children knows,as much as you love your little ones,it is nice to get out and talk to someone other then a toddler. So Emmi jumped at the chance to complete an opp and go take some food to a neighbour.

Lady(can't recall her name):Oh wow you brought the food thanks.
Emmi:I'm a little teapot short and stout...
Lady:Yeah nice one can I have my food now.
Emmi:Here is my handle here is my spout.
Lady:Come on,can't you see my starving moodlet.
Emmi:Tip me up and pour me out....ta-da what do you think.
Lady:What do I think? I think I am stood here at the brink of starvation and you are wasting my time singing about a tea pot.
Emmi:Does that mean I didn't get through to the next round of Sims got Talent.

Baby Daffy has a birthday and gets her mummy's big eyes.

Nick:Sweetie,what are you doing.
Emmi:I am reading Dippy a book called counting for those who cannot.This will help her skill development later on.
Nick:Really?
Emmi:Yes didn't you see the pop up just now.
Nick:Don't you want to know what I am doing.
Emmi:I don't need to I can see your skill bar rising.

Despite the age gap Demi IEmmi and Ashton Nick are still very much in love.
Eventually the day came when Serendipity aged up to child.

Teenage greens.


Emmi:Nicky my beloved what will you do when I am gone.
Nick:Well there is this woman at work who is really pretty and I am going through a midlife crisis so I thought...
Emmi:You thought what Nick?
Nick:I thought that I could never find a woman I love as much as you and oh did you see that shooting star.

Little miss Daffy has been pretty much left to her own devices during her childhood days. So she has to find things to amuse herself.


Begging for forgiveness did not work she still got into trouble. Nick is surprisingly strict.

Finally after what seemed like forever Serendipity aged up to teen.

She gets her fathers tiny eyes and a look of distaste from her mother.

Four days later Daffy ages up and we get Emmi version two. I might as well have just cloned Emmi because Daffy is her double. Don't believe me then just look at the picture below.


So while Dippy worked on her supermax skill of logic and I went quietly out of my mind Daffy decided to become the next Patsy Cline.

Daffy:I'm crazy,crazy for feeling so lonely....

Authors note:I am surprised nobody heard me shouting at the computer. It took me four goes to complete the child stage. Two were outside interference when my two year old decided to switch off my computer. I am starting to think my decadynasty attempts are all cursed. Nick had a job in the science career and then all of a sudden he switched to the cooking career path. I didn't tell him to he just appeared one morning dressed as a chef. Despite the fact my family knows people who I know are townies(The Shue's the Cho's etc they do not show up on the map. The only people who do show up are several NPCs who I know are homeless and a few townies that do not show up in any of the families relationship panel. Louis Swete died a total of three times in my last attempt (I would get the pop up Louis Swete is getting old blah blah followed by Louis Swete has passed on. Then two days later the same message,I would send someone to check up on him but apparently he is homeless like everyone else in the town.Well except for the maid and the paper boy who are living in the Cho house)
Anyway I am going to stop playing before I end up throwing my computer through a window,hopefully the game might be working properly tomorrow.
