Zoologist by Leto
« on: October 29, 2011, 05:09:25 AM »
Leto has provided us with a log of how he completed the Zoologist LTW, and I just edited and published it. He gives some tips to completing it using two Sims, and has a few great screenshots on the page as well. This is not a hard wish, but we like to be thorough and I'm grateful that Leto has taken the time to write it for me! Thanks a ton, Leto.

I completed the LTW yesterday on one. You can put the animals(with cage) into family inventory, which means they cant run away, nor are they needed to feed them. Much like you can do with the LTW "Presenting the Perfect Private Aquarium" (having 13 perfect fish in fish bowls)   ::) 8)

Heads up: zoologist LTW

After reading the guide for the zoologist LTW, I think I should say that I am currently doing the LTW and selling the animals as I find them, and they are all counting towards the LTW, meaning that they don't need to be kept in cages and fed and cared for.
This does make this a stupidly easy LTW that can be completed in a day or two with the collection helper.

I am merging this with the topic about the Zooologist LTW that Carl started.

One thing I found was that animals in your inventory have a habit of escaping, giving you to option to recapture then (as long as you notice before you wander off and lose them) When you recapture them, your animal count goes up, so over a couple of days, one animal could be counted a number of times. This makes it even easier to fulfill this LTW.

Thanks you both, I put a note about the keeping of animals at the top, and added a tip in that section that mentions recapturing them. What an easy LTW!

Does anyone know if this will work for more then one Sim at the same time. Say if Sim A and B both have the zoologist LTW and only one of them completes it will it register for both.
I was thinking it might be like the perfect aquarium wish.

Not sure about that Rachel, but I'm guessing (and I could well be wrong) that it wouldn't work the same. With the aquarium one, the game counts wow many fish are on the lot, but this one does not go by how many small pets are on the lot, but rather how many a sim has caught.
