*Prologue*
My name is Rose. Rose Annabeth Miles.
And I'm going to be immortal.

I'm told the color of my hair is as bright as the colors I paint with. I'm friendly yet flirty, and I'm also very artistic. I'm also a very ambitious person, and I want everything to be perfect. I really want to Live In The Lap of Luxury one day. But enough about me, more about immortality.
I was raised by my father in Hidden Springs. He was a scientist, and always traveled discovering awesome phenomenons. He wanted to find one thing: the secret to immortality. He paired up with a man named Metropolis, and together they set out to find immortality. And they found it. Piece by piece, they discovered a formula that would keep a sim alive forever. My father was very old when he finally found the last piece of the puzzle, but when he did the Grim came. He said no sim could ever know this secret. He took my father. He swore he would destroy everyone who knew this secret. But Metropolis knew. He knew that once you completed the challenge, that death could never get you. He gave the formula to 4 people: James, Recipe, Carina and myself. They completed the Dynasty challenge, and in turn passed the secret on to others to keep the Grim's goal from coming true.
And now it is my turn to fight the Grim.

*Chapter 1-Meeting The Neighbors*
Here I am, in Sunset Valley.

The first step of the plan is complete. Live on the largest, and probably nicest, lot in town.
Now to work on the next step.

When I needed a portrait painter, I immediately decided to choose somebody who has beef with Grim. Such as a young widow. And this one happens to be extremely talented in the arts. Her name is Agnes, and she moved in with me.

I was making my way around town when I saw this beautiful creature.
No, not the gecko!

Him. I saw him at the pool, and I knew I had to have this man as the father of my dynasty.

His name is Chris. We talked all day.

But I couldn't keep the guy there all night. So I said my goodbyes and went home.

That's right, home. As in a house! The architects are very fast workers.

I was happy to go to bed after a long day.

But I wasn't very happy to be rudely awakened. The first night too!

Though I guess it's always nice to have ice cream for breakfast.

Lol marrying the gecko.
The builders do build fast don't they? It seems almost like time has stopped while they are building.

*Chapter 2-Getting To Know Chris*
Hello, my name is Christopher.

This morning, my good friend Rose invited my over for breakfast. Well, she was my friend at the time. But I knew what she was planning, I knew it since I met her at the pool last night.

I had predicted right. But I didn't at all expect what was about to happen next.

She proposed! We barely knew each other, but I loved her. It was like love at first sight, I just knew I would be spending the rest of my life with this woman.

So we got married right then and there.
~
Life with Rose was amazing. I felt like I lived in a totally different world. I got a brand new look, and discovered my love for gardening.

Rose even had a garden custom made in the backyard for me.
In less than a week I went from being the guy next door to being the richest man in town with the prettiest wife. And garden. It's really growing.

But  couldn't possibly omit her friend and roomate Agnes. She was the only other mortal in the house.
Yes, I know all about the dynasty thing and so does Agnes. Rose told us the day I moved in. She gave us two options; stay and help her fight Grim or leave, and let us all die.

We chose to stay.
But no matter how much I loved my new life, I still kept attributes from my old. Like fishing.

Everything was perfect. Until Agnes had her adult birthday.

For most it isn't a problem.

And though Agnes didn't show it, we all kind of sensed it.

Something was terribly wrong.

Let's just say I didn't plan on it, but it gives me a good storyline.  ::)

*Chapter 3-Finding Agnes*
Some might describe this as a mid-life crisis. But for Agnes, it seemed like much more.

But really, you wouldn't understand unless you truly knew Agnes. This was a woman who devoted the beginning of her life to love, and after losing that devoted the rest to art. When she crossed that age barrier, the trauma from early in her life must have really hit home.

She no longer painted aside me. She would be gone all day, out on the town.

She even met somebody that she often brought home with her. But the relationship wasn't healthy, if you could even call it a real relationship.
She seemed so lost.

Chris and I discussed this alot, but never around her. We weren't sure what to do. We thought about having her see Dr. Landgraab, but we both knew deep down it wouldn't help.

Our relationship didn't suffer though.
It was days before Agnes improved. During that time, she bought many new clothes and changed her hair. It was when I saw this that I knew she was recovering:

"We're over Jamie!"

"What happened between us was nothing! And it never could be because you will always be a vampire and I... well.."

"I don't want to hurt myself anymore."
I waited until Jamie left before I approached.

R:"Agnes, I'm sorry. I know how many things have been happening to you lately. Especially with the weight of dynasty responsibilities on your shoulders."

A:"Rose, don't apologize for anything. I should be the one apologizing. Look at all you've done for me. When I was just a crying nincompoop sitting in my big empty mansion, you came along and gave me a second chance to be somebody. And then I go and almost ruin it all."

R:"Agnes, you didn't ruin anything."

A: "Thank you. Now, I have some business to attend to at City Hall if you'd like to come with."
~

A:"Well, that's that! The paperwork is all signed."
R:"What did you do exactly?"
A:"I changed my name, like  should've done a long time ago. You can refer to me now as Ms. Agnes Darling."

And things got back to normal. She wasn't distant anymore, she perfected her painting skill, and she began writing her first novel.
And she got rid of that stupid hair dye. But she says she likes the cut.

And she gets to be a god-mother,too.

*Chapter 4-A Nooboo or Two*
A lot of things happened during the pregnancy.

Chris was ecstatic.

And Agnes was happy for me. Though something flickered in her eyes when I told her, something like bad memories. I don't know much about her past, I just know she lost her love when they were both young. Whatever they had planned for when they were older, well I might never know.

Chris and I prepared for the impending arrival. But most of the time he was fishing and I was painting. One day, Agnes approached me in the studio.

A: "Rose, your good fortune has got me to thinking. I need to move on in my life, and though I'm too old for nooboos myself, I.. I'm gonna adopt!!"

R: "Aggie that's wonderful! So tell me, is it a boy or girl? What's it named?"

A: "Its a little girl named Dumpling. Dumpling Marie Darling. And she is just precious, the agnecy emailed me pictures and she is so adorable."

R: "Umm Aggie? Why did you name the nooboo Dumpling Marie?"

Agency Lady: "Hello Ms. Darling, she's in the car waiting."
R: "(thinking) I've got to meet this kid."

R: "Agnes!!"
A: "I know, she is just the cutest thing EVER!"
R: "Agnes that's not a nooboo, that's a cat!"
A: "A nooboo cat."

But hey, I guess its what makes her happy.... I guess..

Dumpling Marie. Hmph.

And when I woke up the next morning..

I was in labor! Chris and I decided on a home birth.

Meet my little boy, Madarin Miles.

*Chapter 5-Little Mandarin*
There were lots of birthdays in the household.

First was little Dumpling.

For her birthday we gave her a haircut and collar.

And soon it was little Mandarin's birthday into toddlerhood.

And what I saw really shocked me.

He looks nothing like Chris! The only difference from Mandarin and I is hair color.
On that very same day I had my birthday.

Wrinkles! Ahhh!
We got straight to teaching Mandarin all of his life skills.

I have to admit though, he is a stubborn learner!
~Quick Note: I have to say I really am shocked at how Mandarin turned out.The main reason I wanted them to have a son was because Christopher's genetics don't make for the prettiest daughters. But oh well.
