I did more research and Gavin Pinkerton is only Medical 5 (resident) if you choose Hailey Sheperd first.  If you choose him first, he will be a Resident (level 3 medical) every time.

Thanks to all that information I can now start my infiltration of Appaloosa Plains! Kind of taking over the enemies area.
 When all lots are in use and the balance of the game isn't even ... does that mean that the game will kill off a few of my Sims?

Number of Sims in the world depends on your PC strenght, so depending on that, game will move out/kill your Sims to make the world playable for you.

I'm currently playing my Dynasty, and I need a painter. Thanks to you, I can quickly and efficiently see who I can pick (hopefully someone on my sims' street! )

It's possible to get rid of the townies, I believe, but not the NPCs such as the postman.

Alouette Bird will become a Vampire on day 3 or 4  she was targeted to be my Immortal Dynasty Founder's wife! poor Samwell needs a new girlfriend now.

EDIT: Oh, and she comes with Writing at level 2 or 3.

Any ideas on the bouncer at the bar? The black guy I've forgotten his name, my sim is a romantic interest of his but I can't for the life of me get them any further than that?

Every time I play a new game in Apaloosa plains, it is a different bouncer.

Do you mean Evan Noble? He's the only black homeless townie I remember off the top of my hat, and he start out with Riding 6, Handiness 6 and Writing 7 according to my notes. Link here: http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Evan_Noble

No that's not him, hmm this is weird lol, I played for 18 sim days and it was him every day but I haven't logged on since Tuesday night, watch the bouncer have changed when I log on next, if it hasnt I will get a screenshot of his name

Wow, this is great! Although I thought Patch Miller was a puppy? Maybe it's just me but the first day I played Pets on Apaloosa Plains I went to the Miller household and Patch was a puppy not an adult.

It says Patch is 7 days away from adult when I look at the list so it does say he's a puppy.

Does Appaloosa plains have the most pregnant sims? Or is there a EA town that has more?
