Random produce turning up on my property.
« on: October 22, 2011, 08:18:34 PM »
I'm thinking that Talon (my unicorn) might have something to do with this. Penelope has a garden with a quite a variety of plants growing. The garden is fenced in with the gate locked to pets to keep the horses out. A couple of days ago, she invited Talon to join the household and he accepted. Since then, I have found garlic just laying on the ground outside of the garden area, also a bell pepper and an onion. These are actual vegetables, not the seeds that are turning up and they are on my block, not on the ground near my property. The only thing I can attribute it to is Talon. Has anyone else with a unicorn and a garden noticed this?

I noticed that when I told my horse to dig when he was done with the action there were carrots laying on the ground.  Do you think this could be the same thing?

This is also happening to me. No unicorns on my household, though.

Oh OK, I have seen the horses digging around. Maybe I just haven't noticed anything turning up before, probably because if it was produce the horses have most likely eaten it.

I haven't seen any produce show up, but I also don't have a garden. I'm not sure if having a garden is a factor, though. I do however, see my unicorn having a vine growing animation by its hooves sometimes. There is no action associated with this, though.

Horses can choose the "dig around" action, similar to what dogs can do, but the horse will dig up veggies.  If you look closely, the dig around prompt displays a pet food bowl.  I don't have a garden, but every day I find onions or garlic sitting on the ground.

I guess you probably could get away without feeding your horses and just have them find their own eats.  Have yet to see one of my horses with a garlic breath moodlet, but I wonder...
