Horse Gnomes
« on: October 22, 2011, 03:58:51 PM »
I'm not 100% sure this is only in the Pets EP.
But I had 1 normal gnome (which ages?)
And then I had 2 gnomes, a normal one and a horse gnome.

Which are now 3 horse gnomes(and still that normal one)
They move/replace themselves around just like other gnomes.

I have 3 horses at the moment, I just sold one.. But I can't find a 4th horse-gnome.

Is this normal?  :o

there is one pose, and I only saw it when I set up a jump course on my lot, where the horse is jumping a tiny jump.  It looks like 2 separate pieces but is the best one I think.

I found one of them today, right in the corner next to the stalls.  The one with hooves in the air.

Anyone know if we're supposed to do anything with them?

The horse gnomes are just like the normal ones.  You either keep them or get rid of them.  They usually sell for about $1k apiece.  Otherwise enjoy the show of what they look like jumping around your lot.

They're just regular magic gnomes, much like the vampire and teddy bear ones, only appearing if you meet certain requirements. The aging gnome is from Generations, I think. I didn't know I had one until it died and a golden statue took it's place. The golden statue still moved around like the gnome.

The only gnomes I remember to have an actual function are the pet-prohibiting ones (3 gnomes that hold signs, forbidding strays of each species depending on their signs).

Thank you guys.
I think they're cute, and my cats like to scratch them, lol, so I'll keep them..  :P

Mine disappeared again. I've searched high and low and cannot find it.  Is this normal?

Naga, those 3 prevention-of-strays gnomes can be bought in normal buy mode, and they can be set to either attract or deter strays/wild animals. I haven't found them to be that effective in attraction though.

The only thing I know about horse gnomes is that the first one I found showed up when my horse was using a salt lick. Is this the same for everyone? Because I have 4 horses and like 10 gnomes. They're everywhere.

I have four salt licks that spawn at least one gnome daily. I sell the gnomes at 1K each, which has been a real godsend in supplementing my income.

Mine too! But so far I only got one Horse Gnome, and Freezer Bunny Gnome and one dog Gnome. After the salt lick they appeared a day later.

My first horse gnome appeared when I was playing Honey Darnell still and I hadn't bought a salt lick yet. I have TONS now and they love to play in my garden. I'm not sure what makes them appear. Maybe just having horses they eventually spawn?

I had one appear also, so you might be right candy, they might also appear when you have horses.  They are too cute.  Will try the salt lick theory though, I have one, but the horses don't use it too often. :)
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Well, the thing was, I watched my horse while using the salt lick and *poof* I saw the gnome appear. That's the only reason I thought they were associated. I've never seen any other gnome at the time it showed up, though.
