Problem With Horses Coats

Whenever I try making a horse in CAP, its coat and hooves are entirely black and have no texture. Changing the coat color or design doesn't do anything. Help?

I'm having the same problem. I've tried lowering my graphic settings, but it hasn't helped. If anyone figures it out I would love to know the solution.

Simstar - I know you're on a Mac and that is a current bug that EA is working on a patch to get it working.   Something about the deployment of Pets means that horses aren't working right with graphics cards that should be working.    You may also experience more crashes than usual due to this.

annieb- I don't know what type of computer you have so I'm not entirely certain what to tell you.

Have you updated to the latest patch and it still does not look right?  It may just be that you have a graphics card that is currently incompatible with the game.  There is a very large thread on the official forums that lists what graphics cards have known issues with the game.
