Can gigs be played at Appaloosa Plains?

OK, I have a question to ask. While looking at the help section under Starting a Band, it is written that Bands will be automatically eligible for gig offers in Bridgeport. Does that mean that I will not get any gig offers in Appaloosa Plains? Has anyone got a gig offer in this town yet?

In order to get a gig as a band, there needs to be a place that has all four instruments set up on a "stage."   In Appaloosa Plains, there is only the one watering hole and I have yet to see any instruments there so I'm fairly certain the answer is no.  You won't be able to get gigs in AP.  However, if this is not a challenge file, you could probably build a bar to fit the decor or renovate the existing building.  Or the lazy way would be to find a place to plop down on of the bars from Bridgeport.

I got a gig in the watering hole but my fellow band member was not free to perform the gig with me. Is this a bug? Also I added 4 band instruments to the building as well before getting the gig.

There are several forum made venues in the Swap Shop that can work as replacements for BP high rise venues. If you place an empty lot, make it a community lot for the appropriate venue, you then have a place to play a gig.  Or build one yourselves either from scratch or renovate a house to be a venue.
