Crossbreeding unicorns and horses

I've read this is possible. And I'm wondering how the genes of both animals will be passed on to other sims. Are you getting a halfbreed with a middle long horn? Does the foal get the same unicorn traits as the parent? And how does this one looks?

Please post pictures of both parents as well as the foal, so we can also see how much the appearance has influenced the next generation.

My unicorn is pregnant right now from my brown and white appaloosa horse. I will post a pic when the baby is born, but I imagine it's 50/50 chance the unicorn trait passes? I'm curious to see what others find too.

I don't have Pets, so I can only assume here.
I believe Unicorns are the new Life State (occult, whatever) in the game. They should therefore have the same chance as other occults to pass on their hidden trait(s) - 50/50, or in the case of Vampires, 99/1.

Well unless it takes till adulthood for a horn to appear my first attempt is a regular horse. May just be like vampires though in that in children it isn't obvious. No special interactions as a foul that unicorns have from this one if it is a unicorn.

Sadly my first two fouls are just horses, as they have grown up and still have no special powers or horns I'm going to keep trying though, might be bad luck on my part or may be rarer than 50/50.

I got a Unicorn foal    Mom's a Unicorn, Dad is a Gypsy Vanner...





I have no idea if I did anything special or so, but it felt like the pregnancy took much longer then a pregnancy for a horse.
No superpowers as a foal.
When an adult it has the same powers as the mother unicorn. And also has Racing Skill 8.

Both mom and dad were, fast and friendly (and some other traits).
The foal is fast and friendly too. (And Untrained)

No idea    Wevee's Unicorn has it too tho... But that seems to be a male. (as Wevee refers to it as a him)

yes, the black one I showed there was male, the white was female.

Second time breeding became a male horse. (Untrained, Noisy & Agile, Both parents are agile, not noisy)
Jumping Skill 10, Racing Skill 9, No superpowers.





If you look at dad, the coat matches on the legs, but his son has an extra brown marking..

Those are incredible shots. I've been messing with other things to the point that this idea hadn't even crossed my mind yet. I'm sure some very good combinations will come up, highlighted by that glow. I'm curious how their sale value is affected with unicorn blood. You'd think immediately that they should be worth more, but you never know.

With the unicorns having jumping and racing maxed, should make for some nice offspring.  I have not been able to breed my black unicorn yet, because I will have too many in the family, but cannot wait to race him and see what happens.  I like both the white and black.  When I finally get to breed my unicorn, I will post some pics.

I have no idea. I've read elsewhere that unicorns can't be sold. If it's the same for halfbreed unicorns I have no idea. I hope they can be sold though.
