I haven't tested it yet. (Summary for people who can't access the page: They've extended support for Collections in Buy Mode to everyone. Photo collections for the Photography skill have been created for new content.  "Bug fixes and polish to existing features" for all EPs.)

I wish they'd be a little more specific than "bug fixes and polish" about what was done. I know I've seen some very thorough release notes in the past (down to detailing the specific very odd one-in-a-million thing that caused the bug), so it's frustrating when the information they give us is so vague.

My sister downloaded the patch and so far, she has been able to excavate known glitch sites and also use the camera.  I wish they had been more specific, but if these things are actually fixed then that is great. :)

Edit:  You do not have to go into the site to downloade the patch, just click on the launcher and it should come up, if not, try going to the "updates" tab and then clicking on refresh, that is what I had to do.

Also, this patch has added the feature, that they have categorized all of the EP, SP and store content, which makes it so much easier when you are trying to build a house with no store content, which has a little shopping bag now.

Well I updated and got the new collections folders for buy/build mode now. I haven't played the actual game yet. I went yesterday and cleaned house so to speak. My game was lagged badly, and found the thread here about how to fix that and it worked, but I also got rid of a bunch of CC and m's .. going clean period, doesn't matter if it's a challenge or regular game.

I deleted all but one new game file that I started. Doing a Immortal Dynasty. Probably No story. Not great at those. Will do pics and stats of generations. Game is loading faster and better.

I will get to try the photography out. Because Agnes moved in for her painting skills as always and maybe she can do photography for the weddings and stuff.

But with the update, game seems to be doing great..

Hi there...I've been throwing confetti all over official forums so I thought I'd come over here and heave some. :D

EA fixed the excavation sites after what, 2 years.  *does happy dance*  Also can take photos and camera registers what you're pointing at plus sim doesn't freeze anymore.  Can actually see the photos like we used to be able to do. ;D

I downloaded the new patch a couple of hours ago and so far, so good. There's some new patterns and they've added photo collections for Ambitions, Late Night, and Generations.

Right now, the only thing I see wrong, is the spiral staircase no longer works, on mine and my sisters, so might have to do some rearranging.  Would be interesting to see if anyone else is having this problem, other than that, knock on wood, things are ok for now. :)

Link to dowloading the patch? http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/175477.page shows 1.24 as being the latest (at the time of posting)

Ok, so I got the patch and now I can't interact with babies without first using the "hold" interaction. Is this happening to anyone else?

Oh, and did anyone see the new collections tab in build mode?
