Help 1.26 patch ?

I haven't tried a spiral staircase yet, but I have had the thing with not being able to interact with a baby in its crib except to "hold". This was only slightly inconvenient until I tried to have a birthday party for the baby - the "have birthday" action from the cake wouldn't queue up until someone was holding her.

Yeah, that's what happened to me, it took me a while to figure out that I needed to hold them first.

And it was in my dynasty too, so I was freaking out that I had some sort of glitch.

My spiral staircases in one game are working okay. Really, I'm very pleased with this patch.

My spiral stairs work; but, CC chairs and counters don't. Had to replace them with in game stuff which just doesn't fit the decor. But, I love this house and will have to live with it. My poor sim on the other hand went from moodlet of "beautifully decorated" to "nicely decorated". She's not very pleased with this patch.

Not only that, I've just done a full reinstall, and hadn't gone into the game files to fix the version number thingy to make CAW work. And it WORKS! Another fix!

Are you shore? CAW is compatible with latest patch? Did you download new version of CAW(if there is any)Saved files work? I'm lurking around for that info, and this is the first, very promising!

I can't believe about excavation is fixed!?

I haven't had any problems with this patch, I've only played for a couple of hours with it. I'm absolutely loving the collections tab in build/buy mode. There are separate ones for each WA location, which I think is a really good idea.

One new thing I noticed is that my sim could buy carrots in the supermarket (SV, not sure about other locations). I didn't buy any, because there was not a picture for them like the other items, and I wasn't sure whether or not it would cause a glitch.

I'm worried about the CC in my game I haven't done much with the patch yet other than look around at the new features. This was also in a pre-made home from generations and didn't have much CC so that's got me worried.

Ever since I downloaded the patch, I can no longer use bait while fishing.  When I try, it cancels the interaction.  Anyone else try using bait since the patch came out?

It didn't take my Patch long to install, it would have been quicker but I was using the Internet for videos (I just love music videos  ) so now to find out if it wrecked my game or not.

My version of CAW is about a month old, but I reinstalled that too. All my simmie stuff got reinstalled.

New patterns in Geometric and Themed. One in Misc as well. I have not checked the others. So the patch has brought some animal patterns!

Only thing I noticed is that buymode takes longer to open and that new icons for Store Items show instead of the old plumbob. Also same goes for Launcher but I may have not noticed that.

Yes, my child sim was using lettuce as bait for goldfish, and it worked just fine. She was fishing in the central park in Sunset Valley.

I don't have Pets yet, I'm from the UK and it's not released until Friday over here. I patched up yesterday.

Ahhh phooee! My spiral stairs are broken too. There's absolutely no interactions with them - and my 15x15 world relies heavily on them. I guess for the meantime I'll have to switch back to fire poles.

I downloaded it and something seems to be wrong with my fishing now!  I can't get my sim to fish except for very close to shore.  The sim did recently become an elder - is that the reason or is this a technical problem?
