Hmmmm not sure about this! When I first got TS3 I could only "deal" with one at a time. Now I've gotten so good I can deal with more. Maybe I will have to go back to only one for awhile after this one comes out!

I say apparently because the source is from a French interview (and I've not looked at a word of French since my GCSE's)  and there's nothing official on the EA site, at least, not that I can see.

That's very exciting news about a new town!  Maybe that's how they're going to keep the old and new careers separate so that we can still play old careers without having to do anything with them at work.  I'm eager to see how it all turns out.

I don't really like the old careers because you can't see what they do! I mean whats so hard to be able to see a sim running round a track for Athletics or being a consultant or in an operation? I wouldn't care if we had no extra control over sims at work as long as I could see inside!

Investigator! Definatly a investigator. I really want to know and see how a timemachine will work in The Sims 3. We almost don't have to save our game if we could turn back time to undo mistakes.

I seriously doubt that they'll undo all the other careers.  In 10 years they've never done that, only built on what was already in place.

I think the firefighter career looks like a lot of fun!  I'm not sure about the design type jobs, I'm just not that creative.  I don't even change clothes or hair styles of the sims I already have. lol

Whatever they will do with another town or not (or even a city) please please not another loadscreen. I'm more into my sim taking the bus or train to another city and watching him go than watching a bar filling with percentages.

A time machine could be interesting. Maybe sims could travel to the future and visit Pleasantview.

They had a time machine in the trailer a couple of posts back.
Somehow though I doubt that you could go backwards in the actual sim time; I believe more that it's just that you choose when you're wanting to go and then the guy maybe jumps back to the jurassic and comes back immediately with a reward or similar. It would take far too much memory space to save each second of the neighbourhood for you to go back to, so I think that's a bit unrealistic.
