I also read about the earthquakes, how the screen will shake, you will hear the sounds of explosions and then the eerie music will start.   Not so sure about this one...very scary.

That is so cool! I wonder what will happen when the child will die at a younger age than when he, or she has knocked the door at older elder age. Paradox?
Maybe the sim will one day become uncontrollable for a while to make sure he could travel back in time and knock on the door to make the timeline complete. Difficult to explain. I hope someone understands what I'm trying to say.

BECOME A SUPERHERO IN THE SIMS 3 AMBITIONS

(I have found an article on www.pconly.nl about a new job in the upcoming expansion. Because the article ends with .nl instead of .com, the information is in Dutch, but I will give here a translation of the most highlighted news we are probably most interested in: superheroes.)

News | 2 may 2010 EA has announced that one can, besides being a ghost hunter, detective or fireman, also be a superhero in The Sims 3 Ambitions. EA has also told that the life of a superhero also contains hard work and not only glory and fame.

Details
EA further let us know that one can choose between multiple superheroes who are based on superheroes such as The Hulk and Robin (I suppose they were meaning Robin Hood, or Robin from Batman, because I don't know any other Robins). Besides rescuing people, your superhero will also be present on talkshows and as a famous superhero you will be invited for exclusive parties.

Ambitions
Ambitions is the newest add on for The Sims 3. In the add on one can follow his sim to their job and making his or her day at the office as good as possbile. According to EA, every job, even the ones that demand sitting behind a desk all day long, will be exciting with this add on.

(So I believe that we now know what that movie trailer for The Sims 3 Ambitions was talking about. There was a shot of a Hulk-like man and a flying robot that looks like sort of Iron Man. Superheroes will become a hot topic in this add on.)

I guess they must mean Robin from Batman. Robin Hood didn't really have any super powers, did he? He just got a perfect aim, but it wasn't supernatural in the stories I've heard.

except for Robin Hood Men In Tights where the arrow goes everywhere before hitting the target lol. I love that movie.

I am also a fan of Robin from batman though! I loved him in the goofy old real life tv show. I'm so having a Robin sim

I wonder how a superman sim will dress to his super-outfit. I mean: every sim is already changing clothes like Clark Kent from the old serie Lois and Clark since the beginning of The Sims (1).
