Chapter 2: Just Gettin' Started
First of all let's have a picture of Carl with his parents.
That's Mom on the left and Dad behind him I believe.
Me: Carl you need to get a wife.
Carl: You telling me to get a life?
Me: Wife.
Carl: I'm not your wife! Now if you will excuse me I got to go do some romancing. And I know just the place to start!
Strike one.
Strike two.
Carl: maybe I should have moved to Twinbrook. Everyone here seems to be dead or trash talks a lot.
There is only one hope left for Carl:
Carl: maybe I should have bought this house after all.
And look who opens the door!
Carl: Max, I need to talk to you about romances. I can't seem to get any. This guy named Max seems to get ladies to fall in love with him everyday. What am I doing wrong?
Max: Well first of all, you can't be doing things like this:
It's just bad for your image in general.
Carl: how can I make myself look better in the eyes of women?
Max: become a great author, I can smell your aura of authorness!
Carl: I think that's just the bean burrito I just had for lunch.
It's too late to start doing anything today, so Carl heads over to the firehouse to spend the night.
Night:
Morning:
Carl: going down is so much easier than going up.
Carl decides to follow Max's advice and spends the following day in the library furiously typing.
He finishes his first ever novel, Carl and Pam's Sim 3 Guide. He will receive §12 in royalties a week.
This is what the game had to say about it: (I am seriously not making this up this is actually what the game said)
"Carl's newest fictional effort, Carl and Pam's Sims 3 Guide, is sure to be compared to Developing Good Rock Habits for its bold verb usage and vivid imagery. Unfortunately, not everything you write can be a hit or best-seller. If things don't improve for Carl, everything will be a flop just like Carl and Pam's Sims 3 Guide!"
