The End of a Dynasty, Start of another

I can't believe it. It's all over. Grandma ate the Ambrosia. The Reaper came straight away. He reaped her soul. Then he turned on us. Grandma Shannon fought him off. She told us to run. We all did. I don't know where they all went. I heard the screams though. I don't want to think about it. I just ran. I didn't notice Pingu until I collapsed in her arms. I couldn't take it. I wasn't thinking. I didn't feel smart anymore. There was no genius plan just the instinct to survive. I heard Pingu talking but I didn't make out the words.



Pingu lead me to this ring, I didn't know this was ever here. Pingu said that she made my eyes open to the magic. It was beautiful.



We stood inside the circle. Pingu was explaining everything. I wasn't listening. I felt that I was now alone. The Reaper had stolen everyone from me. Now he was looking for me.



I finally saw the sparkles surrounding Pingu. I was confused. Pingu said to not be and just go with it. She said she will miss me.



Then the sparkles grew. They surrounded Pingu. Lights flashed and images of magic and beautiful scenes fluttered in the lights.



Pingu vanished. The swirling lights stayed. I felt Pingu reaching out to me.



I stepped into the magic. My heart got ripped to pieces and rearranged. My eyes burned and my head exploded with new senses and understanding. I felt a force entering me.



I felt my hold on my surroundings shatter, I felt weightless. Then I couldn't see anymore. I could hear the swirling noise of the magic.




Then everything went quiet. I had no idea where I was. All I knew was that I wasn't in Sunset Valley any more. I knew that the magic lights had transported me somewhere. I had no idea where I was.

A new Place

I don't remember anything. Oh wait. I do. I don't want to though. It's horrible. Nobody told Grandma. Nobody told her about the Dynasty. They should have. Nobody told her what would happen. What would happen when she ate the Ambrosia. Food of Immortals. Only those of the Blood can eat the Ambrosia. She wasn't of the Blood. The Reaper claimed her. He claimed my Father. My Aunt. My Cousin. My Great-Grandmother, the one who started this to save the ones before her. My Grandfather. Then he took my Mother. I was next. I was sure of it.

I was stood there. In the Woods. I was paralyzed with fear. Would you not be if Death itself was chasing you, sending it's shadows to pierce your Soul? I was. Then all of a sudden, Pingu. Pingu was there. Pingu wanted to save me. I didn't listen. I was listening to the sound of death. I didn't notice that Pingu was glowing. I didn't notice that I was glowing. I only noticed when my eyes burned and everything went black. Then it hits me. Pingu just saved my life. Pingu died to save me. I don't know where I am. Yet I can feel something. I see the world differently. I feel and see the magic. I don't feel smart anymore. I feel like I want to capture the magic in any means I can.



My name is Tristan Jade. I just realised that I have different coloured eyes. This is so freaky.



"Oh and does anyone. I mean anyone. Have any clue where I am. It's just I think that knowing where you are in life is an important thing to know. Cause I just kinda woke up in the middle of nowhere and had this strange philosphical speech thingy, which is soo not my style. Well maybe I would have got distracted if I hadn't of had help from the, how do I say this without you all thinking I'm weird or something, okay but there is this person, I think he tells me what to do. I mean I don't normally listen to him but sometimes this Mr Bean guy can pretty influential you know."

Thanks Rica! I was surprised at how much he looked like Hank. Of course I took away Chris' mouth as well though!

Thanks Jen! That's because Tris doesn't know where he is yet.  I'll welcome guesses as to where he is but once the first chapter comes I'll tell everyone, unless there is a correct guess before then.
